Simple Solution

Basically this is a laptop DVD drive in a plastic enclosure. If you need an optical drive daily- or even very often- I would spend a bit more. Nicer units that "feed" the disk would be much more convenient. But if you just need to install software or watch a flick occasionally this is perfectly fine.
