Works well, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The external CD/DVD drive works well, however, the front button only works to open the tray a few seconds after plugged into the usb port of my MAC. After a few seconds, if I want to open the drive, I need to click on "Eject" through my Mac's finder. And yet, I would still recommend the product as it works well for the cost.

It was truly "Plug and Play" right out of the box. I've used it a half dozen times now without any issues or glitches. I also like the slim lines and small footprint. Very easy to take with me or store when not in use.

Disappointing

Very disappointed - it would not play any of my DVD's. If you want something to write DVD's this may work, but it doesn't include software to play DVD's!!!

Very solid and fast external DVD

All software loaded fast and flawless. Can't argue with efficiency. This unit was recommended to me by the salesman at Best Buy based on my anticipated usage and I haven't been disappointed.
