    Although I had trouble getting the product to work for me (due to my own lack of computer ability), once the Geek Squad helped me out -- for free, even !! -- we have used it trouble free !!!! I am very devoted to Best Buy -- for their help in choosing a produce and their help when we need it !!

    I bought this because my new slim laptop (like most new laptops now) does not have a built in drive and I still have CD/DVD software. The laptop installed the drivers automatically and I was surprised at how quiet the drive runs. Data transfers seem to be as fast as a built in drive. So far no complaints here.
