It works but after watching five hours of movies with it, it began to skip. Of course, evidently the the LG needed a rest. Now I divide my movie watching to a few hours at a time.

The end of DVDs and CDs may be nearing, but we still need to drag one out every now and then. This fit the bill. Plug and play. Worked as described. I guess that's good enough.

I just bought this to install software that only came on a disc. It would be better if software came on USB drives so we didn't have to buy peripherals just to use the software.

I now can see DVDs with this device, a Good buy giving me more capacity for my Microsoft Surface.

We got this because our Mac Book Air (and other Macs) does not have a disc drive. This way we could upload files from our old PC laptop to the new Mac Book Air. Works great. No issues at all.

Works well with the laptop. Very few interruptions. Be careful using older DVDS - I had a few glitches in playback for a DVD that is about 18 years old that I use for class.

My hp omen didn't come with a DVD drive. I normally just use a USB stick, but when traveling I wanted something to play movies from red box. Works great, small form factor. Plug and play.

My wife and I are still old school. We like to have a hard copy our stuff. This is the only way now. Works well. Does what we need/

This product has all of the capabilities I required and is easy to "install" and use. Exactly what I was looking for as a simple add-on to the under-equipped laptop/tablet.

Not a fan of this laptop. Touch pad is so sensitive and zooms or shrinks the page your looking at too easily. It’s frustrating. Also, the processor is really slow.

Bought this for my son for his new laptop that didn't come with a dvd drive. Directions were a bit confusing to my son, but it works fine. So far so good, after one month.

It is a great product but, even with the program that provides the ability to play Bluray, the hardware doesn't recognize it. Other than that, for DVD, there are no problems.

This product is nice and compact. I like that feature because it's not like I use CDs every day, but I can still stow this away in the desk drawer and then bring it out when I need it.

Purchased to use with a new MacBook Air As is normal with a Mac, it was "plug & play". Only "complaint" is that it is so small and light that it takes two hands to open and close.

This was able to help me burn a DVD when my older iMAC's Super Drive failed. It is short on user information but is very easy to use as well as very light and compact.

I have an older laptop with a failing DVD drive. My newer laptops do not have DVD drives. This unit meets my needs for having a device to read DVDs for some of my installation software.
