The external drive really has helped me to minimize the weight of my laptop. When I need it, I plug it in rather than it being part of my laptop. It works great and was not expensive.

I have used this to install programs from my collection such as Office and Photoshop. It was seamless in connecting. But my experience, as I cited above, is limited.

This is a great little replacement drive since my laptop'd drive quit working. It also is helpful for other family members who bought newer laptops with no DVD/CD drive.

make sure when you buy a new pc it comes with a drive fror cds if not this is what you have to add on works good ........

This blu ray player is the perfect substitute for having to buy another cable box for an extra room. The quality of the picture is good and the wifi works very well.

I needed an external DVD in order to fix my Lenovo Computer. They sent me CDs and I didn't have an external reader to load them. This served my purposes and it was inexpensive.

I never got this item to work even though I installed the program. Don't know what I did wrong and I ended up returning it.

This CD/DVD drive reads and writes CDs, which is why I bought it for my new iMac. I hope it is durable; it seems a little flimsy and cheap. A good buy for the price.

I know it's old school, but I have a vast array of DVDs. This external optical drive allows me to watch the old movies.

For those computers that don't come with an optical drive like mine did, this drive works great. I use it on my Asus computer that's running Windows 10 and haven't had any issues.

This was just what I needed for home use. The price was super reasonable. LG doesn't make anything of bad quality so life's good!

The item itself is great. Too bad my soon to be ex wife stole it from me along with all my other personal property.

This is a writeable drive only. Will not play cd's/dvd's. Purchased as a writer for my all-in-one desktop. Would probably spend a little more next time for read/write drive.

My husbands player stopped working in his all in one computer and our tech suggested we pick up an external one. It is very easy for him to use and we are very pleased with it.

i had to get used to it because it was built into my old computer. i dont have alot of room on my desk so i have to pull it out from behind my desk top to use it

I had an issue with my computer reading the wireless printer. It would neither print nor scan. Geek Squad arrived right at the scheduled time and solved the issue in record time.
