    I just wanted to PLAY dvds (not everything is available streaming). Asked sales rep if this would do it. It doesn't. I think this may be just for creating dvds. Wish I bought a laptop with a dvd player. BTW, plugging in directly, vs. using a hub, doesn't seem to work either.
