Works as expected. Great slim case. No complaints.

One our of three music cd's that I purchased would load with out an error. I was out of town immediately after I purchased the product so I could not return within the allowed time frame. But if I had been in town I would have returned.

This read a CD, but did NOT read a DVD. It was returned. The customer service rep would not refund my money for something that didn't work - I had been out of town because my Dad died - but she didn't seem to care about that.

My new PC wasn't on display or in stock and had to be ordered. The salesman told me the PC I was buying didn't have a cd/dvd reader so I bought this product. When my PC arrived, it has a cd/dvd reader so I returned this product.

I bought an external DVD player and can't get it to work! It had no instructions only a dvd to put in but I can't get it to show up on my computer. I can hear it turn on. I'm so frustrated. This is terrible!!! Ridiculous.

I bought this product because it's cheaper than the apple drive reader, and it would connect with my MacBook. I tried to use this product and it wouldn't load my dvds and it wouldn't eject my media. I returned it.

Using this device to read a CD killed all other devices, including drives, connected to USB ports. The first two times, they remounted automatically. The third time I had to disconnect the DVD drive and reboot the Mac.

Purchased this for the Asus Chromebook as 2 different salesmen told me to on 2 different store visits. Santa listened and it didn't look so great when it had to be returned and come to fond out there's not one compatible for it

Don't like the way it ejects, the sound it makes I think something is wrong with the device. So far it works and has not quit on me in two weeks like the apple one did.

I managed to use it for a few DVDs but the closing latch broke and failed to keep the player closed. I can still use it but have to keep it closed via packing tape each time I change DVDs

I have a laptop that doesn't have a dvd or disc reader so I had to get a portable one. This product does what it is intended to so I am pleased. I would prefer the computer installs the driver automatically.

I jought this tonwatch dvds on my laptop. It wouldn't play one of them. Also when it did work it was loud and slow to load. I would not recommend this product.

We paid $38 for a package of 30 "Verbatim" brand DVD-RW discs that are supposed to be used in a DVR recorder. We have tried to format these virgin discs in our DVR with no success. In effect, they are unusable.

I could not get this to work with my computer. It would not recognize that a DVD was inserted on my computer. I'm sure I could fix it after working with it a while, but It should work after setup.

The device looks and feels cheap. It looks like it was designed with cheap material. So I went ahead and exchange it for an Apple DVD Player. I paid more but the Apple device is a better quality player.

I'm hoping I just got a bad unit because this was recommended to me by a Best Buy employee. I love LG products and this is the first issue I have had. I returned this and got a higher end one still made by LG.

I got this to use with my lightweight laptop that does not come with a DVD drive. I've tried for a few days and still cannot get it to play any of the DVDs that I own.

tried using to burn DVD would not burn and locked up and had difficulty getting the disc to eject. Internal drive would have been much better I believe

Installed and reinstalled software still can't read and play a DVD. Got a great offer to update the software for $40 +/-. What a deal. Tried to use on my 4 month old high end Acer laptop.
