This laptop is perfect for my needs (portability, ability to use MS Office, versatility with tablet / computer combination, touchscreen, etc.). I initially had a wifi issue and contacted Dell. This is a known issue with this model but they guided me through an update, which completely resolved my issue. It was great to speak with a live person on a Sunday night (Dell offers 24/7, 7 days a week customer and technical support). This is my first Dell computer (and first laptop as I own a Sony desktop, which I also love), and I am very happy with my purchase. The Best Buy sales rep was also extremely helpful in guidjng me through this decision, including accessories.

Very light weight. I can easily take this device with me and it easily fits in my purse. It's also easy to set up to my laptop. Works great! I would definitely recommend to others.

I use this to view my workout DVDs in my hotel room, since my laptop has no disc drive. A little in the noisy side, but not to an annoying extent. Gets the job done.

This portable DVD burner does the job, doesn't require external power, and is not much larger than a jewel case. It's fairly quick, and works well.

I was initially very angry with this LG DVD writer/reader. The CiberLink software app that came with the product is very clunky and hard to find answers. I finally found the issue in the Microsoft help community. It required me to get a third party DVD player app, because Windows "will not play DVD movie disks or files due to licensing reasons". Thanks Microsoft. Well, I used "Media Player Classics"; it is a little hard to learn, but once done the DVD read worked fine, and I can not blame LG for this.

It is so slim it hides away easily behind my computer. Some of the LG software keeps asking to do various things at startup and it's annoying.

The solution I needed to burn CDs, import pictures and watch DVDs from my Apple. It's quiet, fast and sleek.

I rarely need a disc drive anymore, but for the few times I do, I wanted something cheap and reliable that I could store away when not in use. I've had no problems with this drive at all and it's worked perfectly every time. I have no complaints and for a product I bought specifically because it was the cheapest one I could find, that's a good thing to say.

Most laptops are shipping without optical drives. If you still need one, this is a reliable, cost-effective option you can easily put back on your shelf when the task is finished.

How did that cram all that memory in such a tiny unit! Seems to work really well

This product is great. Note: for some laptops you must download a streaming software. It is free, but Best Buy employees had to do it for me.
