Very nice gaming monitor, Lg is a great brand. Great price too!

This monitor does everything one could possibly need for a very competitive price. If you don't want to run 1440p, you probably already know that. If you want to run 4k, again, you probably already know that. All I can say is that this thing delivers and I have not regretted the purchase for a moment. I'm actually looking into getting another one.

Best 1440p 144hz gaming monitor. For those curious, the GN850 is the same as the GL850 minus the USB ports. Same panel, same specs. I believe this model is exclusive to Best Buy because I haven’t seen it elsewhere. Highly recommended! It was between this and the Odyssey but I couldn’t go with that 1000R curved screen for productivity purposes.

Out of the box it’s a great monitor, the response time is pretty on par with my previous monitor which was a 180hz TN panel, the colors are a lot more rich. The only thing I noticed is that when I switch to “fastest” for the response time I can notice ghosting, but when left on “fast” it’s really smooth and responsive.

I am currently waiting on a PC, like many, and for now am just using this with my laptop. It works great and I’ve had zero issues. I cant speak about the performance at 144hz since I don’t yet have a machine capable of running that, but at 60hz, it works great. Especially happy about the purchase because it was on sale and I saved $50

This monitor has many good specs such as Nano IPS, 144hz, 1m(gtg at faster), QHD... etc The Color Gamut is the best spec - DCI-P3 90% (CIE1976) that shows wider color range. (someone might says too reddish but I like this way) I have been searched for 27" QHD 144hz 1m monitor. I think this LG monitor is the best choice for the price.

I purchased this for my PS5 after doing a lot of research. I'm not a tech guy, so I did my best reading multiple reviews and sources about the best monitor to buy for the next gen systems and I decided to go with this monitor based off of reviews and price range. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The picture looks amazing and the size for me, is perfect. It's small enough to store behind my couch for when I am not playing, and set up was very easy. I love the stand as well, saw some people complaining about it, but it works for me. Sort of wish it had some sort of speaker, but not the end of the world. I typically play with headphones, so wasn't a dealbreaker for me. Just would be nice for those times where the headset dies during gameplay.

This is a pretty great monitor. The picture quality is fantastic. Nice sturdy base. The adjustable base is easy to use and stays in place. It does refresh at weird times during breaks between programs but I understand it is just the technology so cant really complain seeing as how it is great quality and performs well.

Upon writing this review, I’ve had this LG monitor for about a month. This is a fantastic monitor! You can’t beat 1440p with the 144 refresh rate. Add the HDR touch and it gives the gaming experience that extra vibrant touch. From COD to Warhammer 2, all my games look amazing. A must have with more games now utilizing ray tracing.

The smoothness of this monitor is clean for 144hz. I purchased two of these and haven't looked back. G-Sync makes a huge difference on this monitor. The only issue I've noticed is when HDR is on the screen dims and when you try to adjust the brightness nothing happens really. Other than that it's a great monitor.

Excellent picture quality and fast refresh rate!!!

This monitor is NICE! I've always played my pc on my 4k QLED TV. Switching to this monitor is a huge upgrade. The HDR isn't the greatest. But after calibrating the monitor it looks great in opinion. G-Sync works great paired up with a 2080 Super. I can max out MOST game's with RTX turned on and still average 80-100 fps.

Great display, amazing specs in general and even more amazing when considering it's closest competitors cost quite a bit more. Not sure what else to say about this other than it blew me away. I bought 2 of these, both had no backlight bleed issues at all and were pixel perfect. Very highly recommend these if they're on your radar.

New to monitors. Wanted one for use with my new xbox series x. Freesync not compatible with 1440p and 120 hz through HDMI and HDR gaming only runs at 60hz I believe? Overall, still enjoyed the monitor, colors were maybe a little saturated. Unfortunately, ended up getting a black line down the middle of the screen after a couple days of use. Luckily, with BestBuy was easily able to return with no problems. Ended up upgrading further to the Samsung odyssey 7 and have loved it. Likely an awesome monitor for computer gaming, not as good for xbox, but great for its cost.

Great monitor. Colors are really vivid ,and has a crystal clear picture. Perfect for high refresh rate gaming. You just got to have the right gpu to power it. Gsync works flawless on it. Minimal ips glow on my particular model. You can't even tell its there along as you have the right lighting in the room you have it in.

This monitor works great and looks fine however it is not truly HDR. It can receive HDR information however the screen lacks the brightness to keep up with it. When HDR is activated the screen goes VERY dark. The colors are rich lol but it's not usable in that state. LG Ultra gear makes another model for about $50 less that's the same monitor but without HDR capability.
