This monitor works great and looks fine however it is not truly HDR. It can receive HDR information however the screen lacks the brightness to keep up with it. When HDR is activated the screen goes VERY dark. The colors are rich lol but it's not usable in that state. LG Ultra gear makes another model for about $50 less that's the same monitor but without HDR capability.

Great monitor. Colors are really vivid ,and has a crystal clear picture. Perfect for high refresh rate gaming. You just got to have the right gpu to power it. Gsync works flawless on it. Minimal ips glow on my particular model. You can't even tell its there along as you have the right lighting in the room you have it in.

Can't say enough good things about this monitor. After over a year with it now it still looks gorgeous everytime I turn it on. As a man who grew up gaming on the SNES and N64 the fidelity of gaming today absolutely astounds me and this monitor does an incredible job displaying my first step into PC gaming. If I had a single complaint the black uniformity is noticable and could be better and while it annoyed me initially I barely even notice it now. To sum it up I believe you get OLED level quality colors here for a fraction of the price with the tradeoff being somewhat cloudy albeit way darker than typical lcd blacks.

This is my first HDR monitor and I got to say I don't have any issues with it. Easy setup got it at a good price right before the end of the year so I honestly say that with this monitor I also got the best dang benchmark score I've ever gotten with by 9700K 2060 super setup highly recommended it looks cool too

I got a ryzen 3900x and an asus 2080 super running on this monitor and it is smooth. I was nervous the whole way, because i hear some people get their monitors with broken pixels, other problems, etc. Been using it for almost a week and everything is working perfectly. Was also hesitant because it was an ips panel, even though it is advertised at 1ms. It really does feel fast and smooth though. The only downside with this monitor is, if your playing games with a lot of dark lighting (and your in the dark), people next to you will have a hard time seeing your screen. Also, the glow (something all ips panels have), isnt that bad at all. Im very happy about this monitor. I also came from 1080p so every game i play, feels like a completely new game. Tested apex, tarkov, fortnite so far. Gonna try it on other games but i have confidence because its performing very fast, and the images are looking very good. I wouldnt get this if your looking for HD though, but 1440p at 140 fps looks very very good anyway, and performs as good as it looks. This monitor was also too easy to set up. Theres like 3 or 4 parts and you just snap it together, but its sturdy.

Great monitor!! Good colors and great sharp picture!! Meets all my gaming needs!! Yes it might seem pricey but you get quality and reliability. My unit had no dead pixels nor ips glow issues. It’s my favorite monitor to date!!

Only caveat is that out of the box, everything seems to have this white haze. Once I found the right profile, wow! I didn't expect 1440p to be this sharp! Smaller text is very legible in comparison to 1080p. HDR is nothing to write home about, but it does make things a little brighter and colorful where supported

This is essentially the same as the LG Model:27GL850-B Only difference is this model as fewer I/O ports which didn't matter to me. The quality and picture displayed is terrific, making the gaming experience 10x better from my old 1080p 23" where the colors were fading. It is an easy purchase at $399

Been using this game monitor for 6 months now. I've got to say, I am still stunned by the resolutions and color display! Games are smooth with 144hz and never had any problems with dead pixels. Its also easy to setup too! Would recommend anybody looking for a high quality monitor without breaking the bank!

This is the exact panel as the highly rated and sought after GL850 monitor, it's just lacking the USB hub. Also it has a different stand type. The GL850 is sold out most places and Amazon has resellers with it at nearly $600 or more. If you want the same panel, and don't care for USB hub built in, get this. Windows even detects the monitor as the GL850 when looking at it in the display settings.

So far very very satisfied with this and it is much cheaper compared to similar products such as the Asus ROG model which is close to 600. The only issue with this is the legs of the stand sticks out a little bit too much so if you like to keep the screen close you might find it awkward.

The difference from 60hz to 144hz is incredible and I don't know if I'll be able to go back! The monitor is sleek with very thin bezels which is really good for immersing you in any experience you choose. Also it being G-Sync compatible is icing on the cake to ensure the best gaming experience. It's great!

One word: Complete! Nano-IPS 1440p 144Hz 10bit Wide gamut DCI-P3 Wide range of modes G-Sync compatible Free Sync Premium LFC And all of these for 400$!!! I have looked up almost every monitor at this price point and I can assure you that you will not find anything better.

Uses the exact same panel as the legendary LG 27GL850 but without the USB hub making it $50 cheaper! The 27GL850 is easily one of the best, if not the best, 27" 1440p gaming panel. It matches or exceeds other monitors in clarity of motion (grey to grey response times) and color accuracy at a sub $500 price level (the Viewsonic Elite XG270QG, ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ, and Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q-P are all $600 or more at the time of this review - and shamefully that Gigabyte model is the third of a product line that didn't actually add DisplayPort 1.4 until that Q-P model). Anyone looking for a premium gaming monitor should look no further as not only is it the best panel, it's at the best price by far. Still can't believe I got this at $449 when the actual 27GL850 (last year's model) is extremely hard to find and going for upward of $600 as well. If I had the extra money, I would buy two more of these.

Good picture quality and refresh rate. Could be a little better withe the controls. But all around great monitor

I bought this monitor at an open box discount but it was in pristine condition when it arrived to me. Nothing was wrong with it and it still works like a charm! It is my main monitor in my gaming setup and I love it! Would like to purchase a second one when I get the money to!

Did a ton of research and i netted out on this screen. 4k is cool, but the sweet spot for gaming is 2k. This screen is very nice for 2k and has no issues ghosting or artifacting. Call of Duty. Forza. Fornite. No issues at all. Pricey but worth it.

This monitor has been the perfect gaming combo. It is ips, fast response time, great resolution, and high refresh rate. It really pairs well my my 2080 super and I get the max out of all the games I play. Visuals on this monitor look stunning. It’s also a great price for what you are getting!

Very good 1440p monitor for the price. Has all the features you would want for gaming, like VRR and a high refresh rate.

This monitor displays anything it is connected to with the HDMI3 cord in just 1 millisecond. The quality is great, and the design is quite distinguished from other monitors with it’s slick and color-coordinating patterns. Also, super easy to setup in just 3 simple steps. I am amazed!
