Customers are saying

Customers recognize the UltraGear 27" IPS LED QHD monitor's exceptional picture quality, high refresh rate, and vibrant colors as significant strengths. Many appreciate its value for the price and the effective performance of its G-Sync and FreeSync compatibility. However, some users point to the HDR's dimness and the monitor stand's design as potential drawbacks. A few also mentioned issues with IPS glow, though this is often considered inherent to IPS panel technology.

At first I was skeptical because there wasn’t much news about this monitor, then I found that it was basically their higher end monitor in their lower end body, so for 50 bucks off it was a solid deal! Looks amazing, easy to assemble, and easy to use.

Good monitor, probably one of the best, but flawed

This is a solid all-around monitor. Good colors, low input lag, great response time, barely noticeable IPS glow with no back light bleed (In my experience) but the HDR picture can be better. 350 nits just doesn't cut it for HDR10. Also, I can notice slight ghosting when playing at 1ms versus 4ms. I guess the option is still nice considering the specs, but for what I've paid, I just expected better. 4 Stars is the perfect rating for this monitor imo.

Absolutely great monitor. I mainly bought this monitor because of its good color accuracy and high refresh rate. It arrived with no dead pixels or defects. The stand is sturdy and is easy to set up. 10/10 would recommend.

Great monitor, 144hz and 1440p is perfect for all my gaming needs. The only downside is the stand is huge, if you have a large surface or plan on mounting you will have no problems. If you're on budget i recommend this monitor.

Have a bunch of LG Monitors, from 38in, 34inch down to the 27inch. There is a good reason as to why I keep buying them. Great, features, awesome picture, and for widescreens, awesome latency numbers.. if u go big, plan to have a powerful system, but the 27inch.. is pretty easy on your GPU, and looks great. And these do have the reticle options and work with Nvidia G-sync, however one wants to translate it.. Cant go wrong! Oh, and um make sure you don't play VR when u r in front of your screen..especially when u decide to throw something...har har... yeah..Ive done that.. :)

LG makes the best screens. This is a bit expensive but 1440p and 144hz is worth it.

This is a solid monitor, with extremely fast response time and decent color. The only real drawback is that doesn't have a DisplayPort out, so if you're chaining multiple monitors off one cable, this one has to be last. You can definitely find better monitors, but you'll typically have to spend a lot more money. Beating this thing decisively will probably take spending about two and a half times as much. Note that this review is with an SDR graphic card. I haven't been able to buy a 3000-series GPU yet, and I think their HDR support might improve this monitor a fair bit, as it does offer a reasonable HDR gamut. It's not incredible, but you can't really beat it without spending a great deal more. If you're a value shopper, this is a great choice.

This is a very nice monitor and I have no regrets getting it. I was previously using an older 24" 1080P @ 60hz. This was a very nice upgrade. The screen is very bright and clear. The only issue I have encountered is it will occasionally flash a black screen, I 'm assuming it has to do with G-Sync comparability. It doesn't happen very often so it's not a big deal and I'm assuming it's driver related. You will also want to have a good GPU, I'm also currently running an i5 6600k and a GTX1060 6gb GPU and running 1440p at a high refresh is difficult, I knew this going in and plan on getting an RTX3000 series in the near future.

Purchased when it was on sale for $399.99 and will purchase another when it goes on sale again. May just pull the trigger anyway at $449. I’m comparing this to a vanilla 24” 1080p monitor I use at work. This blows this away and then some. It’s plenty bright but it is in my basement so take that with a grain of salt. Connections are great although I wish you could daisy chain with DisplayPort on this model. Also wish it would have usb but those are not a must. All in all a solid monitor with a 2k picture. YouTube videos look stunning and YouTube TV in 2k looks phenomenal as well! Been using it for roughly seven months and have not been disappointed. Recently purchased a PS5 and the HDR works great with it.

    Incredible LG 2k Monitor

I've been looking for a 2k monitor that was a balance between high quality and not destroying my wallet. This monitor is incredible - the image is gorgeous and colors are very good. the response time is instant and makes my computer feel even faster. I have played games like RDR2, R6, CSGO, CIV6 and they all look amazing on this monitor without any unnatural colors or screen tearing. I also really love the panel control which is a simple toggle stick hidden on the bottom of the monitor. My only criticism is that the stand is quite large and takes up more of my desk than I would like, but overall I love this monitor.

Great for gaming. I have it paired with an RTX 3080 FE and it looks fantastic. Stand is big like every other gaming monitor but at least it looks sleek. Only thing I wish it had was easier source switching.

Excellent picture quality and value. Came from ROG Swift pg278q and going from tn to ips is well worth it. Not quite bright enought for true hdr but an excellent option that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Great colors, great framerate, great size, and great on board features. Only problem I've had is that it says it supports HDR but the picture looks terrible with it enabled. Otherwise, absolutely great pickup.

    Absolute no-brainer coming from TN

You do not know what you're missing until you try out the LG IPS coming from a TN monitor. From my research this is the absolute BEST option for price to performance ratio right now and in my mind, coming from a TN panel, I could never go back. The colors I was missing out on make me appreciate games so much more and simple day to day web browsing now feels even more enjoyable. CONS: Would have loved to see a truly G-SYNC driven option available, but you're not missing out much at all when enabling Adaptive Sync (Just a nice-to-have gripe) Get this monitor ESPECIALLY if you feel like your TN 1440p monitor is the best you're going to get before making the jump to 4k. You'll be surprised how much of a game changer this thing is.

Being my first gaming monitor, I can say that I'm happy so far. The color is good and everything functions as I expected...for the most part. I do notice the the lower right and left corners has seem to be brighter. Also, for something that advertises as HDR, the monitor does not have a very good max brightness.
