a stunning monitor

Faulty Unit

I had a freesync issue, the monitor would glitch out with random flashes on the screen. Then random pixels would light bright white and switch off. After talking with LG support, I returned it to Best Buy for a refund.

So-So

It has definite bleed from the lower left corner and moderate glow from all corners. I did a lot of research online as you can't find these in the retail stores so exchanges are a pain, and it seems very normal for this panel. Whether or not that's acceptable is another question. I decided to keep it, its fine on everything except maybe watching a letterbox movie due to the glow. Questionable if I would recommend. It's the same panel as the Omen so they have the same issues, but I wanted something with a switch on the bottom which these does, as its in the middle of a triple monitor setup and tough to reach the back.

Great resolution, a little tricky to fit on a smaller desk with the stand.
