Do not buy for Series X or PS5

Great build quality and looks sharp. But do not buy if you want to play on Xbox Series X or PS5. Does not do 1440p at 120fps over hdmi. It only can do 1080p at 120fps. If you want the former get the comparable dell for $100 more.

Good quality but has flaws

But when its working its great!

Multiple dead pixels - Not covered by warranty

I assumed that this would be covered by LG's warranty. I emailed their support team about this and they told me and I quote, "it is normal for a display to have a least 8 bright dead pixel/dots and will not require any repair or screen replacement." Yikes. At least 8, seriously? I guess I should've looked into LG's warranty first but I've never owned a monitor with so many obvious dead pixels. I'm aware dead pixels vary between units and I was apparently just unlucky. But having multiple easily noticeable dead pixels and having it not covered under warranty is very disappointing. Sure, if you don't get dead pixels like I did, this monitor is good. But after my experience with this and knowing what LG's warranty is like regarding dead pixels, I definitely won't be taking the risk of getting any more LG monitors in the future.

Don't roll the dice

Poor contrast, atrocious IPS Glow

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This monitor and its predecessor with an identical panel, the LG 27GL850, have absolutely terrible quality control. bad color uniformity, and atrocious IPS glow. I tried to replace this with the 27GL850, thinking maybe the reports about them having the same panel were false. but it was just as bad, with the addition of a stuck pixel. What makes the IPS glow on this panel particularly bad is that it asymmetric, one side having a strong red tint. When I first started using it, I assumed it was a reflection from a light fixture, but it just got worse when I turned off the light. The asymmetry makes it very noticeable, even with brighter content. It also greatly reduces the viewing angles, anyone standing at my left shoulder sees black as mud brown. The color uniformity is also bad, a large percentage of one side of the screen has a much warmer color temperature, making the monitor impossible to calibrate evenly. This is fairly noticeable, and is problematic for media creation. For whatever reason, it is very obvious with Visual Studio's dark theme, which I find particularly distracting. This may be related to the red tinted IPS glow, I don't really know. IPS glow may be universal, but this is the worst I have ever seen. Even if there exist some panels that don't have these issues, it has very bad contrast, and blacks will never look black. Darker games will never look good with this monitor.

Poor Quality control from LG

When I first opened the box I noticed that the screen had scratch marks on it and light bleed on the two bottom corners. After 5 months of use, a vertical yellow line is showing up on the right side of the screen. Will have to request warranty service on this model.

Terrible Experience

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I ordered this monitor and it came from bestbuy with a beat up box, then when I unpacked it and set it up I soon found out that there is a defect in the panel where it would on a black screen show a bunch of random white dots that were very distracting, next the g-sync would not work over 120hz I would get a lot of tearing. So I sent it to repair through LG and got it back and they did not fix the issue so I called again and sent it again and it is still away on this second repair. It has been in my house for 3 days total even thought I bought it over a month and a half ago. The colors other then the issue were very good on the monitor, however needing this for school a month ago and not having it along with all the issues I've had is a big problem.

No cables

The monitor is fine but I bought an "open box" that was supposed to come with all accessories but did not. Called support and took 30 minutes for them to give me the option of packing it up and mailing it back or driving 45 minutes to a store to return it. I just wanted the two cables. Returning the whole thing is just another example of corporate waste and pi55-poor customer support. Probably done dealing with this place at this point.

Ghosting

Coloring is messed up.

bad contrast good colors

Monitor blinking

The blink is on the right side, and its frustrating using that way. Don't recommend buy this monitor, works for like 11 months without problem and now this issue.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly I’m slightly disappointed in this monitor I was informed by a Best Buy employee that ran at 120 Hz at 4K ultra HD which is indeed not the case it only runs at 4K ultra HD at 60 Hz and you can only run 120 Hz at 1080 P I saw the state at least I’m incredibly disappointed and not satisfied with my purchase
