PERFECT PURCHASE FOR GOING FOR A 1440P. ITEM IS A REAL DEAL! YOU SHOULD PURCHASE THIS ITEM. $399 IS GOOD BUT JUST LACK AUDIO

I returned an LG Ultrawide monitor because this monitor had 144hz. Let me tell you this. This monitor is amazing! The quality is amazing, the details sharp and it runs great! I subject messing with G Experience graphic settings to make any game look fantastic and run great as well. This monitor is a life changing for gaming. I would also suggest using the monitor’s graphic settings to change the brightness, contrast or color and of course, there’s preset ones that work great.

This G-Sync monitor has great IPS color with lots of good profile presets. Great for gaming as you’ll be able to take real advantage of the high refresh rate. Before purchase I was concerned about how legible this would be as an external monitor for my work laptop - no issues and the extra real estate versus my old 1080p monitor is helpful. I have this connected to a work laptop and gaming desktop and it shines in both environments. If you can step up to the cost and have a discrete GPU, you will be very happy.

My unit came flawless no dead pixels and very minimal IPS glow which is expected. So far no other monitor for this price can beat this LG. Just buy it !!!! don't waste your time searching for other options this is it.

For $450, I really don't know what more you can ask for from a monitor. In my opinion, 1440p 144 Hz is the sweet spot for modern gaming machines, as most higher end systems are going to be getting 90-125 FPS out of AAA titles at 1440p. The very wide range of Variable Sync is welcome for high fidelity games. The colors really pop, as you'd expect with an IPS display. The color accuracy is solid, with pure greens and reds just being a touch off-hue, but that can be adjusted for enthusiasts. The Monitor comes a bit bright out of the box, which can be uncomfortable for extended sessions, but it is obviously extremely simple reduce that in the monitor settings. LG quality control is generally great; your chances of getting a panel with minimal IPS glow is very high. My personal panel only had a dash of IPS glow in the bottom-left corner, but nothing to be unhappy with. The viewing angles are great. As you'll gather in other reviews, the "Faster" setting of the monitor yielding a 1ms response time is pretty much useless. Ruins the picture. You'll be using the "Fast" setting, so this is a 4-5 ms response time IPS panel, which is still one of the fastest on the market today. This specific monitor has a very low input lag, so the bulk majority of your lag is in the response time itself. This panel is on par with that of many $650-$800 monitors, it's that dang good. The only complaint I have about the monitor is the stand. The 180 degree rotation is always nice to have, but it is poorly executed in this monitor, as it's just a touch loose. Any time I'm tapping my foot to some music against my desk, the monitor will wobble a good bit. There is also no horizontal pivot, which is sad. The height adjustments are a bit too tight, also. The red accents on the stand look classier in-person than they do in the pictures. Don't let the stand detract from the amazing deal this monitor showcases. This is absolutely a top-of-the-line gaming monitor with gorgeous picture and speed.

It's a decent monitor — works well for my gaming rig and regularly hits 120fps at 1440p via the DisplayPort once I had the updated drivers downloaded (you might have to mess around with the monitor's G-SYNC settings to get its refresh rate up high) But FYI: LG uses trash-tier DAC/audio output in their monitors. So when you plug headphones or lil computer speakers into the back of the monitor, the audio quality sounds like you're bumping a Game Boy Color. Super tinny and buzzed out. Everyone's speaking voice sounds like they're malfunctioning in Tron. Not bae at all So just be aware going in that you'll need to plug headphones and speakers directly into your PC/console, which maybe you were already planning to do? Idk I can't read your mind (imagine if I could tho???)

Excellent monitor for gaming. I didn’t want to spend a $1000 on a monitor. I felt like $500 was the sweet spot. After a bunch of research I can to the LG monitor. It has been great. I use if for my XBOX Series X. To get the right setting you do have to turn off FreeSync. For the XBOX Series X only does freesync at 100hz, to use 120hz you have to have it off. I am running it at 1440p 120hz with no issues at all. Highly recommend this monitor.

This monitor has been exceptional, I did purchase one with a few dead pixels, however the resolution is high enough that you can't see them at all. I know If you aren't satisfied, you can always talk with a best buy customer service rep and they will take care of you. But the resolution, and refresh rate, has been good for content creation, gaming, and content consumption, I've found myself using it more for movies than my actual tv.

This Monitor has been GREAT! All my friends compliment how much better my games look on this monitor compared to their $500 TVs. I hit 144 hz on all my games and the crosshair feature built into this monitor is pretty cool and has helped me in some situations. This monitor is worth every penny. No ghosting, No lag, Very fast response times. I cant say enough good things about this monitor! LG UltraGear Monitors is where its AT!

After using this for a month exactly, I am still very happy with my purchase of this monitor. Prior to buying this monitor, I had tried 3 VA panel 32-inch monitors and each had its cons, 2 were flickering with G-sync on and one had horrible response times + black smearing. After 2 months of trying out VA panel monitors, I had enough and went ahead and bought this and it was exactly on a sale too so I couldn't be happier about buying it. Nano IPS is really noticeable especially if you're coming from a standard IPS or VA panel its a lot more "colorful" lets say. Gsync works like a charm as it should but the only gripe about the monitor I had was compromising on the size as I was coming from 32 inch to a 27-inch monitor but honestly, I got used to it in a couple of days. You may see some people complain about the "blacklight bleeding on some sides" and/or "IPS glow" let me tell you that each panel is different and you may get a really bad one and maybe you might get a good one with minimal "glow". I was fortunate to get one where the glow is in the bottom left and is not very noticeable. Enough of me mumbling! Buy this monitor! It's great! It's Hardware Unboxed approved!

This is my first monitor purchase ever. So I didn’t know what much to expect from it. But I must say there’s a huge difference from gaming on a 55” tv as opposed to these 27” monitor. It doesn’t see like a true HDR but I don’t mind that. I feel that my gaming experience has improved so much!! As a primary fps gamer I’m been more accurate
