This monitor is 90% there. Colors looks great (especially since its OLED), HDR is awesome, and the refresh rate is really nice. The Achilles heel of this monitor is the absolutely awful flickering that happens when using Gsync. It's bad enough to the point where I had to turn off Gsync completely to not have a flickering mess of an experience while in game. Gsync is a big selling point of this monitor and unless you plan on not using it or are okay with a seizure inducing light show, I would stay away from this product. It was bad enough for me to return it.

Hi there, Thank you for reaching us. I'm so sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the flickering on your LG 7GS95QE-B.AUS Monitor, especially when using Gsync. I can imagine how frustrating it must be to have a monitor that's 90% there, but the one major issue is causing a significant problem.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge your frustration and disappointment with the monitor's performance. I understand that Gsync is a major selling point for many people, and it's unacceptable that it's not working as expected.

I want to assure you that we're taking this issue seriously and will work with you to find a solution. Please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport so we can help you further. ^Cris LG

The unit was nicely built, but my example had thin white streaks on the whole right half of the screen. I liked it except for the streaks. I returned the unit the next morning to Best Buy.

I bought this monitor from my local BB, got it home and had a different monitor in it, returned it had to drive 45 minutes to a different BB to get one got home hooked up to my pc and it has small white lines appearing and disappearing, took it back to BB had to drive over a hour to another BB to get one had store open up in front of us had big white lines down the screen. So had the store order to ship us one. Got the new one home and this one is having the small white lines appearing and disappearing, updated all my graphics drivers windows and even used a different monitor and there was no issues only with the monitor we got. Needless to say make sure it’s perfect and no small white lines.

Hi there, Andrew. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the issue of small white lines appearing and disappearing on your LG 27GS95QE-B OLED Gaming Monitor after trying multiple units. We appreciate your patience in going through the process of getting a replacement, and we definitely want to assist you in resolving this.

Since the issue persists even after updating your graphics drivers and testing with a different monitor, we recommend checking the connection cables to ensure they are securely connected and undamaged. You might also want to test the monitor with a different PC to rule out any compatibility issues or graphic card settings.

Im pretty disappointed in LG. Maybe it was just this model but text fringing was very very bad on this screen. Colors were washed out no matter what settings i tried. Do some research and go with any oled that uses a Samsung display and is qdoled and it will most likely be a keeper

Hi, Matthew. Thank you for sharing your feedback on the LG Monitor (27GS95QE-B) model. We understand your concern about your experience that didn’t live up to your expectations—especially regarding text clarity and color performance. We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.

This unit features an LG OLED panel designed for ultra-fast response and deep contrast, but we understand that text fringing and color calibration can be challenging, especially depending on your OS, scaling, and usage environment. Enabling ClearType (on Windows), adjusting sharpness settings, and trying the factory reset can sometimes improve these issues—but we also respect your decision to explore options that better suit your needs. Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about comparing your LG Monitor (27GS95QE-B) model to the Samsung Odyssey and finding the latter more vibrant. We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations. This unit is designed to offer a great balance of color accuracy and clarity, but we understand that individual preferences for vibrancy can vary.

To enhance the vibrancy on your monitor, we recommend adjusting the color settings in the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. Increasing the brightness or contrast, or tweaking the color temperature, can make a noticeable difference.

$650 OLED monitor wasn't as good as i thought

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I got it for around $630. Its not horrible but its not as good as the OLED gaming hype. Believe me when i say its just not that big of a deal. Ips isn't bad for the price right now. If this monitor was $350 then id totally keep it and be pleased. But its not 350. . Its not worth $$650-$750 price. Its not bad. Its great for gaming very smooth but not $650 worth. Blacks are black and inky and videos are good. If you want an amazing picture youll have to spend $1.5k-$2.5 for something that will blow your mind in the TV section of bestbuy. But oled monitors below $1.5k just arent worth it.

    It's an OLED... BUT...

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Yes, it's LG, Yes its OLED! Yes its awesome! But this OLED monitor aint worth it's price tag, especially when you compare this monitor to other OLED monitors. For example my Alienware AW34DW released a couple years ago and it destroys the LG GS95QE-B. Hands down better than the LG. But thats also QD-OLED! This LG GS95QE-B is just to dim while in HDR. Which is what everyone is gonna wanna normally use. Its definitely much brighter than the previous GR model. It's definitely an upgrad over the older model, for sure. Great monitor but not great compared to the competition on the market. Also would like to includ that this panel is a matte display and that definitely hurts the display in the end. Idc what anyone says, lol, its most certainly does. I have a LG C2 55-Inch OLED and thats obviously insanely glossy because it's a TV but that display is completely different story because that's one of the best displays ive ever seen other than my Alienware AW34DW. Really wish i could give a higher grade on this monitor and recommend to everyone and i really wanted to like this display and use it all the time in my own setup but unfortunately it's just not the one and LG seriously needs to step their game up! Like if LG would release a monitor with all of their TV technology and all their bells and whistles.. That would tske the cake and be the best monitor on the market.
