Monitor is excellent so far. With a RTX 5080, I don't see any vrr flickering. No burn in so far, using for productivity. I do make sure to image refresh after 4 hours though.

Game changer monitor. Picture quality is fantastic. I’m coming from a few years old LG oled tv that I had been using as a monitor. This thing works better as a computer monitor and the size is perfect. The sound quality on this thing is the icing on the cake.

Once you adjust the settings properly to the PC it may look too dark at first. Once I did the gaming was so vivid and crisp…best purchase for PC gaming!!!

Mostly this is a great monitor except for one thing-the outdated Display Port 1.4. This display's inputs cannot handle the bandwidth required to fully utilize the capabilities of the panel itself. The newer version has Display Port 2.1 which has over double the capacity of DP 1.4. The newer version is not on sale though. If you have a 4090 or 5080 or 5090 this monitor will not allow your GPU to actually do it's job. If you have any card below those they can't push this monitor at high settings with any sort of respectable frame rate. This is a monitor that has no place in the market as is. I returned it and got the new one.

I have always played on big screen TVs because I was ignorant of the importance of refresh rate in PVP gaming. This 480 refresh rate has been a game changer for me. I would buy again.

Love this display, haven’t really fiddled with the 1080 mode or color settings but even by default the 4k looks great. Also the monitor has settings to help you avoid burn in issues.

Works great. Brought on sale for 950 haven’t had any problems. One problem is if your looking for a fast hz monitor I’ll recommend getting a smaller screen as 1080p doesn’t look great on 32 in screens.

This monitor is good. But not perfect. The new WOLED subpixel layout improves the text clarity previous LG panels had issues with which is welcome as their previous models were terrible for working with text. But it’s nowhere near as good as I was hoping. The 480 hz mode is seamless as well and a cool differentating feature. However, LGs choice to apply a matte coating somewhat ruins the panel. The matte coating creates a certain grain on items that makes it feel washed out and “blurry”. Also LGs decision to have an external power brick irks me a bit as well as another proprietary cable to keep track of is a pain. For reference, I also bought the Alienware AW3225QF to compare and the Alienware won hands down due to is glossy coating. Alienware also uses a QDOLED panel with a different subpixel layout which might improve text clarity as well. But when I plugged it in and saw the picture it’s exactly what I expected and wanted a OLED monitor to look like. Sadly, the LG did not. So the LGs good. But I think the only reason to buy this monitor would be if you want the 480hz dual mode. Otherwise the Alienware wins in every other department for me.

Just recently built my first computer with a 4080 super, and a ryzen 7800x3d for my gaming pc. Having something that can handle high fps in not only 1080p but 4k is a great bonus. 240hz/4k and 480hz/1080p is a great well rounded monitor that suits my needs.

I thoroughly have enjoyed this monitor so far. Coming from an 1440p 144hz IPS LG monitor, it's a huge step up in terms of immersion when gaming. The 1080 480hz mode is AWESOME when it comes to competitive FPS, the motion in Valorant and COD is mind blowing. Definitely recommend.

If you have not the newest GPU, this monitor is for you. I can use it for 4K gaming on not so demanding games and switxh to FHD on fast paced FOS shooters for higher fos and refresh rate. 9/10 dur to the dual mode being little bit glitchy sometimes.
