Matte screen and dim lighting for gaming?

Hooked it up and started playing World of Warcraft. Yes the blacks were better then my LCD, but the blurry text, dim lighting, and awful screen coating ruined the experience. Honestly it looks like someone took an oily rag and wiped it on the screen. There’s no point buying a 4K monitor then blurring everything with a poor screen coating. Even in a completely dark room it wasn’t even close to the brightness and sharpness of my old LCD monitor. I returned this monitor the next day.

I just wish I had thought about this much sooner. There is absolutely no lag time with the response, as I had previously encountered with my external monitor. I am also using an MX Master 3s and a keyboard.

Wish they had USB C connectivity though.

Was clearly a display model with burn-in and 7000+ hours of uptime. Currently being sent out to LG for panel replacement so I got that going for me. I did purchase the extended warranty through BestBuy, so it should cover me for the next 4 years if anything else goes wrong with the monitor.
