Posted .Hi, Mason. Thank you for bringing your experience with the LG Monitor (32GS95UE-B) model to our attention. We understand your concern about seeing part of your screen displaying static after just a few hours—especially on both your PS5 and PC. We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.
To get things started, we recommend performing a power reset by unplugging the monitor from the wall for at least 60 seconds, then plugging it back in directly without a power strip or surge protector. Also, if possible, try a different certified HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort cable, and ensure the firmware is up to date using LG’s OnScreen Control or UltraGear Control Center software. Fantastic for gaming, work, or even TV
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is pretty amazing and is probably overkill for the type of games I play. But it's also a great monitor for work, or even just watching tv (with a streaming device). The LG UltraGrear has all aspects covered and I couldn't be happier. Setup was pretty simple, but I would recommend having two people to do this as the monitor is a little heavy and I was worried I would drop it. The stand is pretty sweet as well, easy to adjust up or down and even rotate to a vertical screen. The screen itself has two HDMI ports, displayport, and two USB spots. Since it has so many different options you can easily connect a Roku/AppleTV/Firestick/ETC, along with your PC without having to shuffle cables around. The monitor does have built in speakers that sound pretty good for built in ones, but I wouldn't say they are optimized for gaming. Watching TV, they worked totally fine. I have this connected to an Acer Predator Helios Neo with a GeForce RTX 4060. The computer recognized the monitor right away. I had to manually go in and turn on HDR and mess with a few other settings. Once everything was setup I was blown away by how crisp and clear everything looked. I watched a few videos in 4k just to test and they were stunning and felt very lifelike. I tried a couple of games and even though the screen was perfect, my computer couldn't fully keep up with the demanding graphics. IThis is why it is probably overkill for my use until I get a better gaming computer. However the response time was quick, I never noticed any blurring or any other issues like I have had with just basic monitors. Since it is compatible with Nividia G-SYNC, I didn't notice any tearing or stuttering. With a good quality monitor, it makes gaming a lot more fun and realistic. I plan to use this not only with my PC but with my XBox series x and other gaming systems. If it was bigger I would even consider using it as my everyday TV just because of how stunning everything looks, but it's a little too small for my Livingroom. Overall if you want a great monitor that can be used for gaming, work, or streaming tv this one is perfect. I feel like it's an all in one that anyone could use daily and be super happy with.

Great monitor but a bit too expensive.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oled is quite amazing, honestly you really have to experience to really understand what youre missing out on. As far into the future as I can see, I will only be buying oled monitors/tvs as long as my budget will allow me to. This monitor was a joy to use and I really did feel a bit of pain when I decided to return it. The problem with it is the price. All competing qd-oled monitors are cheaper and in my opionion provide a more pleasant looking image (this monitor still blows any LCD out of the water though). I did notice this monitor does look a bit washed out with high hdr brightness and dark scenes did lose more detail than I would hope. This does have excellent text clarity and didnt notice any issues like I have with a 1440p qd-oled but that could just be down to the vastly higher pixel density on this display. Matte coating on the screen is fine, I do prefer glossy but this is accetable and may be preferred if you would be using this is a bright room. The 480hz mode is not very usable in my opinion. I may just not be as competitive player as I use to be but I didnt find myself switching over to it very much. I tried it in Overwatch and just couldnt get over the pixelated look of everything. It definitely looks very smooth and almost life like but honestly the jump from 240 to 480 on an oled doesnt provide the level of improvement to warrant the massive drop in resolution imo. I personally would wait for the 480hz 1440p LG woled monitor thats suppose to release within the next couple of months if youre really interested in the best motion fluidity and which should be sold at a cheaper price. If this monitor was a $1000 I feel like it might just be a no brainer for people looking for a monitor that can kinda just do it all. I do feel like a $1000 4k qd-oled might be a bit nicer for people only looking to use it in 4k 240hz mode but I have yet to use one of those.

Excellent!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For my PC's I have been a user of LG's 27" 4k 144hz monitors for many years now. I finally have a worthy upgrade in this 32" OLED. Design The monitor fits on my 25 inch deep desk because of it's excellent stand design that lets me push it back a bit farther than my previous monitor. It's a very clean design. The body is a lot of plastic but it feels very high quality and the edges of the screen are metal. Overall display impressions The display looks excellent in a lighter room or dimly lit room. The blacks in a light room do not have any purple tint to them. The brightness is a little lower than some may be used to but that's a limitation of current OLED tech, and you can turn "peak brightness" to high to make the typical scene on the monitor brighter. 4k at 32" is perfect. You can set windows display scaling to 125% and get an appreciable increase in real estate over a smaller display. Matte coating On paper I was turned off from this monitor due to it's matte coating. I feel that I was mistaken to feel this way. It's somewhere in between typical matte, and a glossy display like my apple studio display. The colors still look punchy with truly deep blacks and nice whites. Text clarity Wow! I have used other OLED monitors and I can say without a doubt that the text clarity on this is the best I have seen. It is 98% as good as a IPS RGB monitor. It is better than QD-OLED monitors without a doubt. I can set windows display scaling at 125% in 4k and text looks absolutely fine. 240hz Using the included DP cable with my 4090, I have seen zero artifacts at 240hz 4k. Works great. Excellent for all games. 480hz The monitor does have a 1080p 480hz mode but this is a very niche feature. I tried it and it is possible to notice the 480hz refresh rate but the 1080p is a serious downgrade for most things. There is a niche where it makes sense like certain esports games, but for me 240hz is more the adequate especially the dramatic increase in clarity at 4k. SDR/HDR I would recommend sticking with SDR for typical windows desktop usage. It expands the color gamut and looks wonderful. In HDR with the windows desktop, it will appear dimmer and dull, but that's due to how the color space works. Once you open an HDR game it looks excellent. I truly enjoyed playing through some halo infinite in HDR but again for most usage and desktop usage, stick with SDR. One thing I do need to try is a console on HDMI with HDR. I assume the implementation will be excellent but I have not yet tried it. Speakers The built in speakers are actually half decent. They are nothing compared to my kanto ora's but that's to be expected. For a gamer who usually uses a headset but occasionally wants a speaker, this monitor will save you from having a dedicated set. Comparisons I have tried an asus PG32UCDM in the past. It was OK but I did not like it as much as this LG. The stand is oversized and the blacks appear as a purple tint in a lighter room. Additionally, text has color fringing on the edges. The asus has a nice glossy coating but its not quite as good as an apple monitor. The asus usage felt odd to me, but I am used to LG monitors in the past. Overall the asus will suit many people, I just personally preferred this LG. I have also used an LG C2 42 as a monitor. This is a niche setup. I would argue for most cases it's not a worthy PC setup but if you're looking to do something like a racing or flight sim setup, it's a nice choice. Coming from the C2 you will have vastly better pixel density, better 100% white screen brightness, vastly improved text clarity. I'm very impressed with this one and look forward to using it for years to come.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG UltraGear 32" OLED Dual Mode monitor is an absolute game-changer. Whether you're a competitive gamer or a visual enthusiast, this display delivers on every front. The 4K UHD resolution at 240Hz offers stunning clarity and smooth motion, perfect for immersive single-player experiences. But the real standout feature is the FHD 480Hz mode—ideal for fast-paced esports titles where every millisecond counts. Colors are vibrant and rich thanks to OLED technology, and the ultra-fast 0.03ms response time ensures ghosting is nonexistent. G-SYNC compatibility and FreeSync Premium Pro support provide a tear-free, buttery-smooth experience across both NVIDIA and AMD systems. Build quality is premium, with a sleek black finish and intuitive controls. The ability to switch between ultra-high refresh rate and 4K resolution is a brilliant innovation that adapts to any gaming scenario. Highly recommend this monitor if you want the best of both worlds—performance and picture quality. Ask Search Make Image Research Could you add a section on the monitor’s color accuracy and HDR performance? Mention how it performs in a multi-tasking setup or for productivity beyond gaming. Highlight the ergonomic features or adjustable stand for comfort during long gaming sessions.

Amazing monitor minus software/technical issues
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing monitor minus a few software/technical issues. Peak brightness is currently at 600 but it’s believed that LG can release an update to increase it to the actual peak of 1300. The extra brightness would be great for hdr because it looks dull at times. 4k is amazing on this thing. Very smooth refresh rate. Don’t like retail being $1400 and feel $1200 would be fair. Luckily I got it on sale for $1200. Overall I’m really enjoying it. Never switching back from OLED. Also quality is amazing on this and the stand is one of the best monitor stands I’ve used.

Loved it, but I had 3 issues with it
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent picture quality, great viewing angles, excellent deep blacks. 3 things that I really wish it had was: 1. A thinner design 2. Speakers that the dark colored one has (this color has a lower quality speaker for the same price. That makes no sense to me.). And more importantly 3. It just wasn’t bright enough.

LG OLED. 240-480HZ. 4K Res. THIS is a true monitor
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of if not the best gaming monitor to hit the market right now. If you are looking for a gaming monitor with 4K res, a great refresh rate, low response time, and OLED then this checks all the boxes and much more. I purchased this monitor to upgrade from the 27 inch LG OLED monitor because it was a beast of an upgrade and to see if it was worth the purchase. Never dreamed of getting a monitor this big for my setup or even replacing the 27 inch but it does not disappoint. This monitor offers more brightness and better color than what I got from the 27 inch LG OLED monitor with a higher resolution to top it off. The speakers are decent but I still use a dedicated source of sound for the experience. Honestly, I could not give you a reason not to get this monitor. If you want the best and don't have a set budget to work within, this monitor is my recommendation to you.

Excellent Overall Monitor, With 1 Drawback
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I loved this monitor. The picture is lush, the blacks are deep and the refresh rate makes gaming feel snappier than ever. In addition the Pixel Sound is honestly very underrated, and well suited for general use even as a television. However, for me, there were one or two minor snags which have more to do with my need for it to function as a TV as well. When it comes to brightness I just haven’t met a PC monitor that rises to the occasion like even a budget OLED TV can. This results in washed out highlights- especially in console gaming, which requires more image tweaking than the monitor allows for.

Thats just how i am, especially when it comes to dropping 1000 on a monitor. But i can say truthfully that this monitor is incredible. Yes its not as bright as an IPS or LED monitor, but thats because its OLED. With that, you get clarity, color, and just straight beauty. This monitor hits all the boxes i need, high refresh rate, amazing picture, and HDR.

My introduction to OLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is absolutely fantastic. I was skeptical about jumping from 27" to 32" and had never owned an OLED before to understand all the hype about them, but this monitor sold me on all of it. The picture quality is beautiful but you may have to fiddle with the brightness a bit to get it where you like. Also, even though this monitor gives you choice between 4K 240hz or 1080p 480Hz, I prefer everything in 4k but its nice to have that option. I bought this monitor when the white version was cheaper than the black (though I wanted black) and I would recommend anyone else in the same boat to do the same. You cannot see any of the white from the front of the monitor and also long as you have a monitor arm so you don't need the stand and a way to hide the white power cord it comes with, you will be able to completely forget it is white quickly. Of course, if you prefer white then you are in even better shape. The only thing about the monitor that I am not as much of a fan of is the fact that all the inputs are at the bottom of the monitor and face downward. I would prefer if the inputs faced backwards so I had more room to completely hide the cables off my desk.

Excellent Monitor with High Potential
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a high end premium monitor at a premium price. Being able to choose immaculate image quality at 4K or immense speed of 480hz at 1080p was fantastic for the different use-cases I had. I found the colors quite vibrant and enjoyable for a WOLED monitor and it seemed to produce fantastic HDR colors when that was enabled. Unfortunately I believe it was a bit too janky in the implementation of this monitor with DP1.4a. I found that switching between modes and having the delays associated with DSC was not worth the unique features of this monitor. I believe this monitor is a great start though and could be a highly desired choice in the future with proper DP2.1a support along with graphics cards that can accept it. I also hope for more options as I would much prefer a 27" variant as 1080p at 32in was difficult to become accustomed to. I found myself avoiding the 1080p mode due to that blurriness found at 1080p. The monitor does support a 27in mode where it blacks out portions of the screen to simulate a 27in monitor but it does not alleviate the issue in the slightest. I do have high hopes for a variant in the distant future with 5k/240 & 2k/480 as that would be the absolute best resolutions for clarity at 32in. There does currently exist a 4k 240hz / 2k 480hz with DP2.1 in China so hoping it is feasible through LG in the near future.

Amazing Visuals, but Dual Mode Has Issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the LG UltraGear 32" OLED Dual Mode gaming monitor for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s been an incredible experience. The picture quality is stunning — deep blacks, vibrant colors, and the OLED panel really makes games pop. Whether I’m running in 4K at 240Hz or switching to FHD at a blistering 480Hz, the smoothness and clarity are on another level. It’s also great that it’s both NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Pro — no screen tearing whatsoever. However, I have to knock off a star because there’s a noticeable issue with Dual Mode. Occasionally, switching between the two modes can cause my PC to crash or freeze, which is frustrating — especially in the middle of a game. Hopefully this can be fixed with a firmware or driver update in the future. Despite that, it’s still one of the best gaming monitors I’ve used, and I’d recommend it for serious gamers who want top-tier performance and visuals — just be cautious with Dual Mode for now.

Much better with this as it can go into 480hz on 1080p, but even better being OLED this one is 4K. I wish they put in a remote with it like my 27 inch had, but there's a button on the back on the monitor to adjust settings. Overall satisfied, but not so much for the price. Should be about 1100 or 1200.

Gorgeous monitor that performs as advertised!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from a 1440p 240HZ VA Panel that was the Samsung Odyssey G7 to this new OLED panel at 4k and it was a noticeable upgrade. Having infinite contrast ratio playing games in HDR has been a blast. Of course you want a beefy GPU to push games towards that 240hz refresh rate at 4k and even the 4090 currently can't push some demanding games past 120 fps so there is room to grow into this monitor over the next few years too! The Pixel sound on this monitor is surprising, I could easily listen to music or play games with it if I want to share my computer audio with someone. Dual mode also works as advertised once you have it setup. Takes about 10 seconds total for my system to swap over to 1080p and 480hz after pressing the button on the bottom front of the monitor and it's great for competitive FPS games like Valorant or Counter Strike. At 240hz or 480hz the motion clarity of this monitor is amazing, It is so easy to track targets in games, there is virtually no motion blur.

Unboxing, Build Quality, & Testing: The monitor delivers an incredibly fast 0.03ms response time, virtually eliminating motion blur and ghosting during intense gaming moments. It comes NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified, ensuring smoother gameplay with less screen tearing and stutter across a wide range of GPUs. Brightness levels with Micro Lens Array+ technology reach 275 nits, coupled with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and a stellar 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, producing vivid colors and deep blacks that bring games to life. The nearly borderless design with height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments adds ergonomic flexibility to fit any setup. Audio is innovatively delivered directly from the screen with Pixel Sound tech, providing rich, immersive sound that complements the visuals perfectly. Anti-glare coating and low reflection help keep distractions away even in bright rooms. HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports support high bandwidth for consistent 240Hz at 4K performance. Great monitor, really impressive sound, overall A!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great speakers compared to any other monitor I've seen, definitely usable instead of headphones when you don't feel like throwing em on! The picture quality is good and the response rate/ghosting is almost nonexistent! I'm still adjusting to it from a 24" 1080p monitor, and I'm still not entirely sure that I'll end up keeping it or going for a 27" because of that... but the quality of the monitor itself is outstanding! I need to upgrade to a GPU that supports HDMI 2.1 to see if the HDR will work better (in reading online, it seems like HDR over displayport on this monitor IS a bit buggy with max brightness and that seems to be what I'm experiencing). I do wish this display supported DP2.1, but I realize we're still a few years away from that becoming widespread too, and it's not something to be critically worried about.
