I originally got the ultrawide but frankly it was just too much. This fit perfectly with my setup. Looks incredible and performs just the same.highly recommend for the technophiles out there.

Matte Screen....

Thats the biggest downfall to this monitor. 4k 240hz and 1080p 480hz is the best of both worlds and it was ruined by a matte display. I pulled out my OLED G8 and have been using that while this has been sitting in the closet for weeks...I hope LG makes a glossy version of those or at least just starts producing glossy versions of any of thwir WOLED panel.

Want color accuracy? Buy it. Want to use it for a console or just about anything you would want a monitor for? Buy it. I've bought plenty of monitors, over 20 monitors and this is the end game. Gaming, Photo and Video Editing, and Streaming content. Just Buy it, you wont regret it.

However, if you are looking for an OLED computer monitor, this one turns out to be the most practical on the market. The UX of the firmware can be vastly improved, but with a lot of tweaking, the image quality gets acceptable. Love that it's actually anti-glare, much unlike Alienware QD-OLED mirrors.

Which is absolutely insane. The monitor is not G-Sync compatible. I’m looking at an Nvidia control panel that saying it’s not compatible well also looking at a sticker on the monitor that says it’s compatible lol. Customer service was an absolute nightmare. The best part is that I couldn’t even play games. Every game I clicked on the screen would automatically minimize.

The monitor is an NVIDIA® G-SYNC® Compatible monitor.
We have received reports about the monitor not showing up as an NVIDIA® G-SYNC® Compatible monitor [open issue 4564083], and we are working with NVIDIA. We will update you regarding this once we have updates from NVIDIA.
