The dual mode feature is well-received, and users appreciate the inclusion of built-in speakers and HDR capability. Still a bit ahead of it's time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly a beautiful and high-performing monitor. I believe outside of ultrawide monitors, this was the most enjoyable gaming monitor I have ever used. Still ahead of it's time I think people should consider THIS monitor when they get the RTX 60 Series or 70 Series

Crystal clear quality and colors!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely AMAZING monitor, only downside is I wish there was a cheaper alternative that was 1440p, 4k is too much for most games I play but the image quality and the colors are astounding! HIGHLY recommend, the ports are in the bottom of the monitor instead of the back

An Absolute Beast.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my 2021/2022 Asus 27' 1440p 275hz lcd monitor with this one. I've had it going on 3 weeks now and overall I love it. I think unless you are the ultimate screen snob, you'll love this monitor. For reference I have had my share of top TV's recently. High end Samsung mini led's as well as the 2022 Samsung S95B OLED that I use pretty much every day. It has the gloss screen and all that and is gorgeous. When I'm using this monitor, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I'll admit this is my first OLED monitor and I waited long and hard before I pulled the trigger but overall I've been very pleased. It is bright and inky. I'm using it with my Windows 11 gaming PC Build as well as an M1 Mac mini. Both look and perform great on this beast. Gaming wise, I'm in love. Coming from a 27' 1440p monitor I was a little worried that in my competitive games going back to 1080p would stink, but it's not a big deal at all and usually not even noticeable. the 480hz OLED when playing competitively is just marvelously smooth. And when I'm not gaming this thing is always in 4k/240hz and it brings Windows 11 to life! lol. All in all I love it. The sound quality is excellent even though I have my own external sound system + headset. The switching between 1080p and 4K takes on average about 3-4 seconds. I've been very impressed so far. Wish it was cheaper but you're paying for high end bleeding edge tech. I wouldn't listen to much to these people talking about the screen and what not. Unless you are wayyyy overboard about those kind of things it will moreeee than meet your needs. I think it is gorgeous. Now I just have to upgrade some of my hardware on the PC to take full advantage of the 480hz lol

Wow what a monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly upgraded from the scam and mess that now “dough” brand monitors are so maybe my experience is a bit nuts because of that but wow what a monitor, fast responding, super great quality and the refresh rate in 4K?? Amazing! This is legit the future only thing is there is no button or setting for the back light.

Okay but has issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I ended up returning this because out of the box in SDR and HDR there is a substantial amount of black crush happening and it's the worst I've seen on an OLED (my LG CX 48 in for example does not have this issue). Also there was some weird gamma issue where it was randomly raising the black levels of the black bars at the top and bottom of movies during playback. I'm guessing these are firmware issues and they can fix them via an update but there is no guarantee of that and who knows how long you might have to wait. As it stands you have to pump up the black stabilizer to like 70 to adjust for the black crush issue and that seems to somewhat wash out the entire picture in doing so. Also, while the matte coating is fairly tame and it's not super caked on I didn't find it any better than my Acer XB27HU1's coating and in some ways it was worse. The finer grain seems to cause more chromatic shimmering in white or light colored areas (this was especially noticeable in Bioshock Infinite as that has a bright light color palate. I've used glossy and matte panels throughout the years, and while I will always prefer glossy I don't mind using matte...but this coating for some reason seems to have that "can't unsee it" kind of thing going on for me. Other than that the monitor itself seemed great, no dead pixels and the size and refresh rate are perfect for a standard sized desk compared to a 48in TV. I guess I will try one of the QD-OLED monitors instead.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this monitor for nearly a year and its amazing. Crisp picture, unmatched contrast levels with the oled technology, buttery smooth gaming.....i could go on. If you're on the fence, trust me, just do it.

Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Have tried The alien & Asus version and i must say LG duo mode is really something else. I have the best of both worlds at click of a button. Having auto power on and off is also great.

Great monitor but dual mode is eh.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In terms of the LG UltraGear 32OLED. I believe it is an amazing monitor if you're looking for productivity and aspects of gaming. I could not give it a 5 star because I had to return it as an advent gamer. 1080P/480HZ was terrible. It was very pixelated when playing games that were shooters which made it complicated to get a clear view of characters/location especially in FPS games. Disregarding 1080P mode. I think that the 240hz 4k OLED portion was amazing. I had no issues with the monitor itself and was basically amazed by the quality of LGs monitor.

WOLED is better than QD-OLED for lit productivity
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor was better than the 32" Alienware QD-OLED I tried first for my use case. Brighter, and with better text reproduction due to the sub pixel layout without the fringing you get from Samsung's odd triangle layout. No chunky bezels or chin, just a thin black border around the whole screen. The semi matte screen looks just like my other lg screens, and is preferred for a well lit office were this is used. I have a 77" G2 OLED for our primary TV, and know what they look like glossy, but think this is much better for productivity use, smothering glare while keeping blacks BLACK (not purple like they are with QD-OLED). If I game, it will be at 4k for the full resolution, not the 1080p high refresh rate so cannot speak to its value. Speakers are not good, but preferred the white casing and have standalone desktop monitors. They would suffice in a pinch. Should have USB-C at this price point.

Amazing display but expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply a gorgeous display for everything and 480 fps speed albeit at 1080p when you want it. Onboard speakers sound pretty good though bass is lacking but thats understandable with how thin this thing is. I really fell in love with the included remote with the LG 45" ultrawide and really wish this would become standard for gaming monitors as I switch inputs often playing on different platforms. Biggest downside is the cost.

Best High-End Gaming Monitor by Far!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an avid gamer and business person and this monitor is awesome! Gaming is where it really shines and playing in 4k with my 4080 Super I am getting about 100-120 fps and this is one of the best screens that I have seen while gaming. Works super well with all of my excel spreadsheets and other business documents and works well with Adobe Premier Pro and Lightroom Classic. You can't go wrong and for some reason the black model is $100 dollars more than the white model, but you can pick this up for sale here at BestBuy and it seems to be a permanent sale. If you have the budget and want a high-end gaming monitor, this is the one to buy!!!!

Best monitor I’ve ever purchased
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although some may not see the justification in spending the money for this monitor, it is absolutely worth every single penny. This is the best monitor I’ve ever owned by FAR, images are so clear and the refresh rate is so smooth.

Doesnt have everything, but has what I need
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is pricey, yes. May be missing some features like other monitors. However, i bought this monitor for the image quality and it absolutely delivered. Consider getting this if you have a higher end rig to support the 240hz 4k. The only setting i had to change out of the box is changing the peak brightness from low to high which really brings out the beauty this monitor can deliver.

Amazing Monitors!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OLED on these 4K monitors, and the refresh rate are all amazing. Great Monitor but maybe not necessary
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my primary monitor on my gaming setup it's great for the most part, the only thing I don't like really is that it often changes the size of my open windows when it goes to sleep it's not a big deal, but it's a little annoying I think it has somehting to do with the ability to change between 4k and FHD, but I'm not sure. The other thing I'd say is I bought this at the same time as my top of the line gaming PC and I thought it sounded great to be able to switch to 1080 for games where speed matters but in reality I don't ever do it. Not that it's hard or anything just my setup is fast enough by default, 480HZ is overkill at least from my perception I don't see any difference other than the resolution in responsiveness at full settings in any game I play.

Much better than Lcd
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best panel I've used so far, will never be going back to a non Oled panel the colors and brightness look amazing. The dual mode comes in handy to for when you really want to crank out some fps in 1080P.

OLED for gaming
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High quality monitor perfect for gaming. Perfect blacks provide amazing contrast and are a noticable improvement for me over similar spect VA or IPS panels. I was pleasantly surprised by the built in speakers quality as well and in my small office I don't feel the need for extra desk speakers.
