Better options available, do not buy if over $500.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, if your looking to buy this for the dual 4k 1080p support...don't. Ya it's there, but 1080p on a 32 inch monitor sitting 30inches away (at least for me) is not worth it...too big for that low of a res.. you'll be desitracted by all the pixelation. If you absolutely need 1080p and want 4k for other stuff then get a secondary 24in 1080p. The build quality is also not what it should be for a monitor at the price. This has the build quality I would be ok with at under $400. Granted I bought mine open box for $750, but not worth it. (Side note - the open box was in excellent condition looked brand new, so none of my problems are related to that.) My other monitor is an Alienware aw3423dwf and it's in a different league of build quality. If you've never had an oled you'll probably think this looks awesome, and it doesn't look bad. But if you've ever used a qd-oled and then turned on this (woled panel) you'll notice a massive difference in color loss. You don't get the same quality and dynamic range as you do with qd-oled. I knew this going in but I did not think it would be so drastic. Lastly, it's a process to get the colors calibrated right. If that's not a big deal to you then throw on the gamer1 mode and off you go. But if you want to pull as much color out of this as you can then it takes some fine tuning. Performance is good, I have a 5070ti and OC'd 265k and at max settings I would of never come close to the 240hz at 4k, so it's there for the future if gpu's stop relying on "AI" upscaling/mfg and actually provide enough horsepower to get to that point...but unless you've got an unlimited budget and games start optimizing better, you'll rarely make use of the 240hz. Market at its finest.

Posted .Hello there, Mhill. Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with us regarding your LG 32GS95UE-B.AUS UltraGear monitor. We understand your feedback regarding the 1080p dual mode, the build quality, color performance compared to QD-OLED, and the color calibration process. Your insights are valuable.
We understand your perspective on the 1080p mode for a 32-inch display. While the monitor is designed to offer flexibility between 4K 240Hz and FHD 480Hz, the visual experience at 1080p on a larger screen, especially from a closer viewing distance, can indeed show more pixelation. This is inherent to the resolution on a panel of this size.
Regarding the build quality, we are always striving to deliver products that meet our customers' expectations in every aspect. We appreciate your comparison and will certainly pass along your observations to our product development team.
On the topic of color, the LG 32GS95UE-B.AUS features a W-OLED panel. While W-OLED technology delivers excellent contrast and true blacks, as you've noted, QD-OLED panels can indeed offer a wider color gamut and higher color luminance, leading to a different perceived color vibrancy. This is a characteristic difference between the two OLED panel types.
For color calibration, we understand that achieving optimal color accuracy can sometimes require fine-tuning. We offer resources and settings within the monitor's OSD (On-Screen Display) menu to help users calibrate their display to their preferences.
We are pleased to hear that the performance of the monitor is good, particularly the high refresh rates, which are designed to provide a smooth gaming experience as GPU capabilities evolve.

Amazing display but expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply a gorgeous display for everything and 480 fps speed albeit at 1080p when you want it. Onboard speakers sound pretty good though bass is lacking but thats understandable with how thin this thing is. I really fell in love with the included remote with the LG 45" ultrawide and really wish this would become standard for gaming monitors as I switch inputs often playing on different platforms. Biggest downside is the cost.

Def get insurance for this.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had some issues out of the box. It wouldn’t post, it kept saying “ performing screen cleaning”. After finally setting it up to the 5080 TUF. It was magical. You can tell the difference. It’s a bit off when there is lots of natural light ( living room set up, I have a sliding door and huge windows). Tend to do lots of work and reports. There is a bit of an eye strain when using word or an app that requires a white screen and text. Couldn’t regulate the settings to make it not hurt my eyes, nor make it look weird. Sort of grainy. But love that the speakers are built in within the screen. That was cool. Back port, could use some work. Really tedious, and annoying to get behind the monitor to connect cables. Hence the initial unboxing/set up was teedidous. Borderline frustrating, since you don’t want to touch the screen and/or break it.

WOLED is better than QD-OLED for lit productivity
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor was better than the 32" Alienware QD-OLED I tried first for my use case. Brighter, and with better text reproduction due to the sub pixel layout without the fringing you get from Samsung's odd triangle layout. No chunky bezels or chin, just a thin black border around the whole screen. The semi matte screen looks just like my other lg screens, and is preferred for a well lit office were this is used. I have a 77" G2 OLED for our primary TV, and know what they look like glossy, but think this is much better for productivity use, smothering glare while keeping blacks BLACK (not purple like they are with QD-OLED). If I game, it will be at 4k for the full resolution, not the 1080p high refresh rate so cannot speak to its value. Speakers are not good, but preferred the white casing and have standalone desktop monitors. They would suffice in a pinch. Should have USB-C at this price point.

Fantastic monitor plus OLEDG at 240
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I loathe Windows HDR effects and it looks completely lousy on this monitor, don't enable it. If you want this to look like an amazing OLED monitor, just tweak the monitor settings and don't select windows HDR unless you like everything washed out and terrible looking.

Best Consumer Monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent monitor. Display is outstanding. The only issue I’ve had is due to the monitor’s burn-in protection mechanisms (which is a good thing), I had to troubleshoot a problem of the monitor not turning on sometimes when I woke my Mac. It was a minor issue that I was able to fix by turning off the monitor’s deep sleep option.

Best High-End Gaming Monitor by Far!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an avid gamer and business person and this monitor is awesome! Gaming is where it really shines and playing in 4k with my 4080 Super I am getting about 100-120 fps and this is one of the best screens that I have seen while gaming. Works super well with all of my excel spreadsheets and other business documents and works well with Adobe Premier Pro and Lightroom Classic. You can't go wrong and for some reason the black model is $100 dollars more than the white model, but you can pick this up for sale here at BestBuy and it seems to be a permanent sale. If you have the budget and want a high-end gaming monitor, this is the one to buy!!!!

Wonderful OLED monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm coming from the Samsung G9 27 inch 4k monitor. I had no idea that the quality would be so different from a regular 4k LCD to an OLED. The colors are so vivid and the blacks are actually black and the whites are white without any washout. I highly recommend these. Still very expensive, but worth it in my opinion. If you mount them on monitor arms, make sure to get some that a rated for the weight of the monitors. Make sure to do the cleaning feature every so often after long gaming/use sessions.

OLED is a gamechanger
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this monitor as an upgrade from my 27 in. 1440p MSI monitor that was 5 years old, and I've been blown away! Nothing comes close to the colors on an OLED! Even though this monitor is a matter screen, the colors really pop! While I haven't seen a glossy OLED up close to compare, I'm more than satisfied with this monitor! Plus, the dual refresh rate is amazing, especially if you do the UFO blur test! And the SPEAKERS! I didn't even realize there were built in speakers in the monitor but I love using it. Overall, a great product by LG

Best monitor on the market
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great monitor, the semi-matte oled helps eye strain a decent amount compared to the QD-OLED. 480hz and a design that looks professional and minimalist. The only monitor that fits my needs that’s currently available on the market at the moment.

Great monitor but dual mode is eh.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In terms of the LG UltraGear 32OLED. I believe it is an amazing monitor if you're looking for productivity and aspects of gaming. I could not give it a 5 star because I had to return it as an advent gamer. 1080P/480HZ was terrible. It was very pixelated when playing games that were shooters which made it complicated to get a clear view of characters/location especially in FPS games. Disregarding 1080P mode. I think that the 240hz 4k OLED portion was amazing. I had no issues with the monitor itself and was basically amazed by the quality of LGs monitor.

Amazing OLED gaming monitor
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WOW! What an upgrade from my previous VA panel. Glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase. Definitely worth it and highly recommended it if you’re looking for an upgrade or entry into OLED. Speakers are surprisingly great for integrated speakers and don’t need PC speakers at the moment. The colors are great but you can always calibrate to your liking of-course. Also to mention the elephant in the room, the matte finish on the panel itself isn’t irritating to me as it may for those who prefer the glossy finish. I own an LG C1 65” OLED and yes the glossy is perfect but that’s a tv and makes more sense to me personally to have it be glossy. For gaming monitor the matte finish is perfect for my taste, coming from a matte VA panel. Try it at least and judge for yourself!

Top gaming
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] Really good monitor for gaming and watching the occasional movie. Yes the matte screen can be a let down for many but for me it’s perfect and I think that’s not a deal breaker. The 480hz is def a game changer and makes it easier with a change of a button
