The LG UltraGear OLED 34-inch genuinely ruined regular monitors for me. The OLED panel is unreal, perfect blacks, insanely vibrant colors, and motion clarity so smooth it almost feels fake the first time you game on it. The 34” ultrawide format makes everything more immersive whether you’re gaming, watching movies, or multitasking. The response time is ridiculously fast, and paired with the high refresh rate, every game feels buttery smooth and responsive. Story games look cinematic, competitive games feel sharper, and even everyday browsing looks premium. The curve is subtle but makes a huge difference once you get used to it. Build quality is top tier too, sleek design, thin bezels, clean RGB lighting, and it actually feels like a premium setup centerpiece instead of just another monitor. If you’re debating whether OLED is worth it: it is. This monitor feels like one of those upgrades where you instantly wonder how you ever used anything else. Easily one of the best tech purchases I’ve made.

My previous monitor was an LG IPS 34” ultrawide and I really liked that monitor. After I got this one set up, I was amazed at how good it looked. Colors are very vibrant and accurate, the high refresh rate is awesome for esports games and the viewing angle is perfect. At first I thought the curve would be too aggressive but I was wrong. It’s actually better than my previous monitor that wasn’t as curved. I didn’t have any issues with dead pixels, or at least not yet and the best part is that they updated the firmware so it doesn’t bug you about the image cleaning mid game. You can change the settings and every time I power down my pc, it starts the image cleaning process. Being able to use it as a KVM switch with my MacBook is also great, I do wish it did have a type C port instead of connecting an HDMI cable but it is what it is, maybe I can get a type c to HDMI but it won’t charge as I am using it. The monitor did come with everything needed, both HDMI and DP cable and USB uplink cable. So far I’m very happy with this monitor and would definitely recommend. And of course, make sure your GPU can actually get you those 240hz.

By the far the best gaming monitor I've had the pleasure of using yet! The colors, refresh rate, and build quality really make this monitor stand out. The HDR is pretty good as well and performs very well for high end gaming. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a solid high refresh rate monitor that enjoys quality and performance.

The LG UltraGear 34” OLED curved monitor has changed my thoughts on curved monitors and now I found that they are great for me to use, especially when it comes to gaming. This monitor features very high-end specs and performance numbers that you would expect from a gaming monitor and has taken my gaming PC set up to the next level for sure. The HDR true black 400 really makes the colors pop and look fantastic. The 240Hz anti-glare / low reflection OLED screen is curved in a way that it helps you feel like you are more immersed in the game as you play. The resolution is not 4k, but to be honest, I don’t need 4k currently, and the 3440x1440 (WQHD) looks great with this size of this monitor. The pixel count is great, but I do think if you go up to a larger size, you may notice the pixels more, but this 34” is perfect for this WQHD resolution. I am using this with my Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 powered laptop, and I am very happy with the results. The anti-glare coating does not cause any issues and helps with the normal glare of the lamp that is positioned behind me in my room. The monitor stand is hefty and holds this monitor very nicely, it is an L shaped metal and plastic mount that allows you to adjust the height, angle, and swivel it, and the design allows you to pretty much back this up right against a wall which is nice if you have a shallower desk. The connections on the monitor include all the options that you would need. 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, two USB type A ports and an upstream USB port as well, and finally a 3.5mm DTS Headphone:X compatible audio jack rounds out the ports. On the back of the monitor are LED lights that you can customize with different colors if you wish, they are off by default, but you can adjust in the general Settings of the monitor. Speaking of the settings, you access them by the joystick type button on the back of the monitor right in the middle. It took me a little bit of time to find it and it does take a little getting used to in order to turn off the monitor and navigate using this, but it is not that bad. Overall, this is one fantastic monitor that I am happy to be using and it is a bit on the pricey side of things, however, add the fact that you get a 2 year warranty that includes screen burn in and you have a great option to take your gaming sessions to the next level as well.

[Employee of bestbuy] I’ve been looking for an OLED for a while for gaming and stumbled upon this monitor. At first, I wasn’t a fan of the curvature and a matte screen, but it grew on me. The colors are just so nice and makes gameplay enjoyable. I’ve had no issues with it so far. The only downside is having black bars when you play specific games, but your eyes just dismiss it after a bit. TLDR: colors are great, super big screen for… your needs, high refresh rate for shooters and mobas

Took a little bit to get acquainted to the curve - at least for me, I never got fully used to it. But I will say that the image quality was excellent and it felt very immersive!

I am blown away by the difference when jumping from an IPS panel to an OLED. I still can't believe how good this monitor looks. Inky blacks, high peak brightness, great colors, extremely high refresh and response rate. Truly awesome monitor

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this display. OLED changes your life. This was my last display for a full OLED household and I have absolutely no regrets. I upgraded from my 144HZ Gen 1 Razer Raptor display and it was exactly that. Faster speeds, better blacks and more real estate. 21:9 can take some getting used to, especially during everyday tasks like browsing the web or using productivity software but quickly fizzles out.

I am extremely satisfied with going for a high quality monitor of this caliber. The price was a bit intimidating, but a monitor is something you use every time you are on your PC, so it shouldn't be overlooked as long as you have the hardware to use it. The size and curve of the OLED screen is perfect, but I did like the 49" version LG has to offer as well. For my office/gaming PC setup, the 34" was perfect to accompany my other two existing monitors. I truly couldn't imagine how high quality this monitor was, coming from a 144HZ 1080p 24" flat screen. I wouldn't go back. After 5 months of use with zero issues, I am more than happy with the purchase and spending the extra money. I pair this monitor with an Intel 14700k/Nvidia 4080 Super, I have no issues at all with gaming. A buddy of mine used this with a 4070 Super and a 13 gen Intel CPU, his experience was as good as mine.

Don’t know where to begin. Changed to this monitor from my old LG ultra 1ms response time and wow, this monitor Is sleek, beautiful and fast. picture Is unreal, lights on the back can be changed to any color which was something I really wanted because I didn’t care for the purple color really. curved gives It such a awesome look, perfect monitor. worth every penny

This OLED ultrawide is great. The colors looks amazing when gaming or watching HDR content. The matte finish for this display does not take away anything from the picture quality. The text might be slightly blurry if looking from close. I recommended this monitor if you're looking for a 240hz ultrawide strickly for gaming. That's where this monitor shines imo. If you can catch it for 899 as I did, it's a steal.

Bought open box - good condition. Everything was in the box and nothing was missing! Initially there were some lines on the screen and I thought I may have to return it due to defects, however the screen has built-in cleaning options and after that, it was practically brand new! Amazing productivity boost as well as an amazing gaming experience for games that support the native resolution. As far as competitive gaming goes it probably won't be your first option, but for someone like me who wanted a monitor that has a great balance between gaming and productivity, I am thrilled.

This monitor is a game changer. The higher refresh rate, low response time, and oled screen has been a huge upgrade compared to my previous 144hz 2k monitor. The blacks look really nice, and I like the larger ultra-wide display. Definitely worth the pick-up. I would wait for a sale though. Full price is a bit steep and LG monitors go on sale frequent enough to grab this at a steal.

For the price you are paying, this monitor is well worth it. Very smooth frame rate, nice quality, and very quick to start when it comes to gameplay. Highly recommend.

If you play on a pc then it’s the perfect monitor (unless your are looking for a 4k) it’s very immersive and has a great image quality, the only problem I could think of is that if you are playing on a console the aspect ratio won’t let you enjoy the full screen since it’s a 21:9 and the consoles only run at 16:9

Not only did this product exceed my expectations but it still continues to impress me daily. Everything from the colors to the refresh rate is spectacular.

It's a solid monitor, great color quality and the refresh rate is awesome. However, if you've never used a ultra wide screen monitor, then be prepared for it to feel weird for a little bit. It becomes totally normal after a week or two but it's quite the transition from a normal monitor to this beast.
