I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this monitor. I’ve always wanted one and I’m so glad I decided to finally buy one. The quality and colors are beautiful and really make me more immersed when I am using it for gaming or just watching a movie.

Let me just get this out of the way right up front: I love this monitor. Photos of its style and design don't do it justice. It is a quite a stately, elegant-looking monitor with very thin aluminum bezels and a glossy dark gun metal gray rear frame and stand. The screen itself is ultra thin, and all in all, I'm a big fan of how this monitor was designed. It's a nice looking showpiece as much as it is a monitor. It looks and feels premium as soon as you lift it out of the box. As far as picture quality, well, it's OLED, and it's awesome. Games and videos look outstanding on it, and that goes for both the image and the motion clarity. It has height, tilt & swivel adjustment, and LG's OSD is easy to use with many features and color profiles to suit your taste. Even though it's marketed as a gaming monitor, I've used it for work for several hours since I got it, and it's been surprisingly good for that too. This panel is smooth, quick and snappy with very low input lag, and this along with its size made it quite pleasant to work on. I expected that the rather low ppi would make working on it less than ideal, but I found it wasn't nearly as much of an issue as I thought it would be. This monitor is one of those things that can elicit a certain emotional response from the buyer. I had seen it a few times in pictures, but the first time I saw it in person on display in a store last week, I was in awe. It really is one of the coolest-looking monitors I've ever seen and that is still true after having used it all week. Truth be told, this panel won't be for everyone. It has an aggressive curve which some may not like, and ultrawide isn't supported in quite as many games as standard 16:9, although the vast majority of games these days do support ultrawide just fine. It also has a matte finish on the screen as opposed to a glossy one. I normally prefer glossy, but this panel still has a striking image and excellent colors and clarity regardless of the matte coating. I'm really glad I took a chance on this monitor.

The Monitor ROCKS!!! I am using a Nvidia 4060 and the picture is beautiful. This monitor will is on YouTube for all the specs but for a ACC, IRacing, and GT7 sim racer its perfect!! The size fits my Next Level rig perfectly and I this point, Me Personally, 45" is all I need for now. The 49",57', and 59' look amazing but are just too much for me. For a more immersive and intimate experience, This the monitor to get!!

The screen appeared to have vertical striping prior to updating monitor drivers through the LG software. Don’t panic about that until after fully installing everything. Excellent monitor. Only thing missing is eARC.

This monitor is beyond gorgeous and it should be for the price. Absolutely stunning colors, deep blacks, and the massive screen real estate allows you to view multiple documents, etc. all at one time. And watching movies… Incredible! Since it is OLED, I would highly recommend adding the extended warranty through Best Buy.

You cannot beat this monitor for gaming. The level of immersion is insane and the oled just makes it so good. Not as great for productivity but still not bad once you get used to minor text fringing issues. If youve been thinking about it i highly recommend it. Beat gaming experience you can buy right now.

I’m so thankful that I was able to get this amazing monitor during Black Friday sale. I have owned this for almost a year and have had (knock on wood) not one problem with it. I can split this single screen into several screens and multitask or I can use it to process photos and also to play games. 240 fps, gsync capability and LG software make it simple to use. I would definitely recommend this if you want some graphical real estate or if you need a larger screen for health reasons or whatever reason. It’s so handy to have for multiple windows and tasks. Make sure to set up the maintenance and RGB lighting either from the software or directly from the power button interface in order to make sure that this beauty lasts you for a long time.

This monitor immerses me into whatever is it I’m doing with its sheer size! The upgrade to 1440p is fantastic compared to my old monitor, and the refresh rate is quick. Love it, it’s a beast

I went from a 32 inch 4k 140 PPI QD-OLED screen to a 45 inch W-OLED widescreen and ended up being completely immersed and amazed while gaming on this screen. It really is a sight to behold once you have it all set up and youre playing on it. Roughly 1300 Nits peak brightness when set to high. I encountered some strange color banding when i first turned it on, but a 10 minute image care cleaning option made that issue vanish forever. If you plan on gaming on this screen it will be am amazing experience, but i cant speak for productivity.

This is my first curved monitor and just blown away by the picture quality. Size is perfect, all games look great. Would highly recommend

Bought this a few days ago. I really like this monitor size. Its very clear for a 1440p monitor and beautiful colors. Swiched from a 240hz 4k 32 inch monitor to this 1440p 45 inch 240hz monitor because it looks really good. Lights and darks are really bright and really true to black plus it was on sale. Highly recommend it. Its 45 inch monitor but measures 39 inches wide size which fit my desk area perfect!

Absolutely love it! Playing games on here is amazing and you don’t feel like you have to be struggling to see the whole screen! I definitely love the curve and it doesn’t feel different even when watching movies and the video quality is super clear and pretty.

Everything about this monitor is quality and modern beauty. Then I turned on the screen and it was even better. This large of an OLED screen makes it worth any extra money spent. Even with an underpowered laptop. Once I get to use it’s full screen capabilities I may submit an update.

I have had this monitor for almost 6 months. Main use is my my racing sim PS5 and PC racing. Definitely worth the especially at the current sale price in 11-2024 of $1,000. Colors are vibrant and monitor is bright enough for me. Even tho it isn’t 4k not a deal breaker for me. Don’t need 4k for sim racing. The curve on this one is insane!!! Do not know about bright room with monitor. I have it in darker room. Overall would buy another LG ultra gear monitor again.

I purchased this monitor with very high expectations and it has lived up to all of them. I stream on Twitch, make some content for YT but mostly I play games and consume various entertainment via streaming services. The video quality and response times are fantastic! Playing FPS games like APEX Legends is so much better when you can actually see everything! The aggressive 800R curve is so immersive I wish I had pulled the trigger on this a long time ago!

I initially came in and bought the LG C3. I loved it but after having an Odyssey G9 it’s hard to go to a tv. I’m a pc gamer and unless you’re running a 4090 series setup it just didn’t look the best. So I took it back and paid the difference and bought the LG UltraGear 45. This thing blows my G9 out of the water. I absolutely love the video quality and for those of you wondering the .03 response time is the real deal. Holy God is it good in first person shooters like COD or Destiny 2. Probably the best monitor I’ve ever had. Not to mention it lights up from behind. The curve is super immersive. It’s not cheap but well worth the money!

Outstanding! The color depth of this monitor is perfect for any game, making landscapes surreal while still having the response times and frame rate that you want for competitive games like Marvel Rivals. There is no backlight so when black is displayed on the screen, it is truly black leaving massive amounts of headroom for the brightest brights. With this display I can easily track obstacles or enemies on screen with the ultra low response times and lightning fast frame rates. The hexagon shaped RGB on the back of the display is just bright enough to add some nice ambience while not being too bright to the point where it distracts from what is on-screen. With this display even while HDR is enabled I never have to spend hours tweaking the brightness settings to get that color and contrast accuracy that you want when playing dimly lit horror games or games that portray deep space with very high contrast. I love it! This purchase was honestly a bit steep for me, but I eventually convinced my console-gamer wife to allow me to make the purchase, and after seeing it in action even she agrees it was well worth the expense!

LG-UltraGear 45 Oled really proved to be a reliable high end monitor for both gaming and work, with best buy's return policy I was able to replace my LG-UltraGear 32 Inch 4k Oled Monitor with this one and I am loving it for it's worth, won't be changing to a new one anytime soon !

This is a BEAST of a monitor!! I got an incredible open box deal that I could not pass up. The wife loves it too for work when she works from home. 240hz and OLED make it pure magic. Plus the flex status with the bros. They are super jelly and want to play on it.
