The monitor was very immersive from a desk top depth of ~35 inches. The mode change works consistently and as was simple for my PC to adjust to for resolution and refresh rate. The multiple resolutions and aspect ratios this permits makes this a excellent value. The 27" 330Hz mode was great and in my opinion, the curve did not negatively impact the experience at that size in comparison to a flat panel. The only negative I notice was the difference in smoothness vs a 4k 240Hz monitor. To be fair, I have not yet experienced one at this size 45 in size though. ~C.O.R.A.

Some flickering issues. Caused by drivers and also LG’s part. If I’m paying 2K for a monitor, it should at least come with display part 2.1 without compression
So close but just not enough to justify the price!

This is not worth the price of admission. The display has strong edge vignetting and auto dimming if you have cont and the text should be much clearer given the PPI but it isn't even close. The kicker being the semi-matte display on top of all those issues - this was disappointing. The resolution and hertz switching is quite pointless at this size of a display and it makes text and graphics that much worse. Even in gaming you can see a considerable amount of degradation. You would be better off getting a separate high refresh rate monitor plus another high resolution monitor and you would likely spend less at the end of the day.
Hoping LG continues to innovate in this space cause the size and resolution are sorely needed and this was really close to being perfect. But pricing is out of whack just cause they were first to market with a niche product and the feature set they tried to include felt more like they were throwing everything at the wall.
I need LG to work up from their 42" OLED TVs and give us an ultra wide version of that!

Gaming at 5k is soooooo gooooood, if you buy this have a gpa that can run it, also keep in mind it has a mate finish not glossy but the picture is still great
