Works right out of the box and easy setup. I have to say on 1080p even without 4K, the detail of a Blu-ray is phenomenal. Hats off to the quality of this LG unit.

No Wi-Fi. I also don't like that there is no subtitles shortcut on the remote. The picture is great and the operation is straight forward. I got it on sale for $79, for that price i am happy.

If you want Just a 4k player this is it. No Wi-Fi, nit a smart player. Most people already have a smart t.v. dont really see why you need a smart 4k player. Jmop

Great video quality. Can't go wrong with price. Very happy with my purchase. Have it hooked up to my sound bar and it provides a full movie experience.

I finally purchased a 4k player and this one is great and inexpensive. It has great features and puts out great sound. It doesn't have all the apps that the more expensive model has but if you already have a 4k television with apps then you don't need the more expensive model because after speaking to the BestBuy representative the only big difference was that this one didn't come with the apps (Nextflix, etc.) but if they're on the television you don't need it on the 4k player so I saved a little money and got the lesser expensive model and it was on sale at the time.

For the price this does everything I would want from a 4K player. I have an Apple TV, so streaming service was not needed. I was looking play blu ray and ultra HD movies at a fair price. Nice!

Birthday gift for my 70 year old father. He had no problem setting it up and connecting it to the TV. He is enjoying seeing the improved detail in his movies.

Not having wifi is not an issue for me as I was able to hardwire to my network. But you will need a connection to the outside world to download the latest firmware, which is the first thing you should do after hooking up to your monitor. I started with a player output of 2160 and found sometimes regular dvd or BD will not display correctly for some reason. If so, change settings to "Auto". Tested on my LG 43" 4k monitor with the new "Wonder Woman" 4k disc. Monitor set to HDR medium. Using a Cat 2 higher bit rate capable HDMI cable. Result: Slight improvement over BD. Graphics sharper. I think the less than expected improvement is due to the LG 43", rather than the player itself.

Bought it for my dad. He has a smart tv which compensates for the lack of wifi capability-netflix. So if you have a smart tv, which most 4K seems to be, then this is a fine budget item

Great price for 4K blu Ray player even though it doesn’t have WiFi or smart apps or any apps period for streaming but does the job on plying disc for low cost. Highly recommend

Replaced a blu ray player that sometimes play a dvd disc or would freeze up. I bought this unit and safe blu Ray dvd played nicely and better quality pic.

We have watched several videos in the 4k mode and they looked great. No complaints and the unit is very easy to use and has great quality. Happy so far.

This player is straight forward, easy to use and set up. You can also play more, Avi, and move files in 4k. Price was not too high and it looks nice with my equipment.

Easy install and setup and works great so far, haven't had any issues testing it out. Snagged this up to play our everything 4k collection and it plays great with a beautiful picture!

Found this on sale for $79 and it does everything I need it to do - play 4k disks. It accesses the disk quickly and the picture/sound are top notch.

Have been looking for a nice Blue-ray/DVD player for a while now. Seen this one while it was on sale and after reading over other customer reviews, decided to get one myself. Works really well! It doesn't have any apps like Hulu or Netflix, but I personally have a Smart TV and already have them at easy access. If you're looking for a nice simple player that will play great looking movies, this is the player for you! Definitely worth the price!

DVD player works very well. Easy to install and use. Our last DVD player could not play DVDs with slight imperfections. This one can. Great value.

The remote is simple and a bit small. All in all the picture is great and the fact that it's not smart doesn't matter because my tv is smart.

Bought an LG TV, sound bar and 4k blue ray player. Picture quality from blue ray player is great - color is excellent and operation is easy.

Really like this player. Very easy to use and great 4K picture. My daughter was blown away when she watched her first 4K movie with it.
