This player works real well with the new 55" lg oled tv I just brought from Best Buy store. Staff was very informative and helpful in which made my choose easy to decide which DVD player to buy.

With already having a Smart TV, there was no need for a dvd player that could do the same thing. You don't have to update anything and there's no need for an internet connection. Simple and effective is the best way to describe it.

I am giving this LG Bluray/DVD 4K player 4 stars, because of price and handling, but advertisement indicated a region free player. I needed region free, as I lived overseas and have Bluray and DVD’s with country code #2 and viewable in PAL which is global TV and much clearer than US NTSC format.

I've had this 4k Player for close to a month now and I have yet to experience the noise complaint that many other people seem to have. This 4k player is quick compared to other players, and its HDR is gorgeous when paired with a TV that supports it.

I was looking to get into Ultra HD on a budget, and this player did the trick. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but it accomplished what I wanted. I don’t love the homely menu design, but once the Blu-ray is in, it doesn’t matter.

I needed something simple and reliable to replace my old Philips blu-Ray that was always a challenge to operate. This give me the ability to play my blu-Ray collection, and have upgrade to 4K when I decide to update my TV.

I really don't see much of a difference on the 4k or maybe is just me I was looking for the stunning 4k picture but I thought it looked just as good as my blue ray maybe somebody else had a better experience than me I guess you could buy one try it and if not satisfied return it... good luck.

I have a huge collection of original 'Old School" DVD's and it was difficult to find a player that played them. This one does. I do not need or use the connected features, but it has no Wi-Fi, only a wired connection if that is important to you.

The player plays movies as its supposed to. The Cons are that its not WIFI and the menu interface leaves a lot to be desired. I would recommend to buy this item ONLY on SALE. Do not buy at regular price I dont think its worth it.

This player will play ultra HD discs. I haven't tried that yet. It has a feature that enhances DVDs so they are almost as good as Blu Ray discs. This works extremely well and is definitely worth the extra money the player costs.

Paired this with my LG OLED tv. Didn’t need a player with WiFi or included apps as the tv already had them plus I also have firetv. Excellent addition. All I need now is to upgrade my LG SJ8 soundbar to SJ10 Atmos, and I’m set!!

I've heard good reviews about this product so I decided to buy it I did not need any app capability from the 4K player since my TV is already smart enabled so I decided to buy this model. Has great picture quality and great audio

I don't know if it's not the best or if 4k isn't great but I bought a 4k movie to play and I swear bluray works best with this. I don't notice a difference in the picture quality. But 4k netflix is good. I wouldn't recommend. Nice bluray though.

The player is very thin and compact. The remote has all the functions I need for playing DVDs, Blu-Rays, and 4K disks. The best part is it's silent, unlike my old PS3 that whined when a disk was played. Very happy with my purchase.

Good 4K player. My only complaint is if you like to change the picture settings to vivid or anything else you have to do it in settings while watching the movie. Every single time, it would of been easier if you could set this up in the main settings to stay on.

I purchased this when I got my LG OLED TV. It was $80 at the time and got good reviews. I didn't need the apps so the lack of Wi-Fi was a minor inconvenience. I eventually purchased an upgraded player but the LG was just fine.

This is really a great 3D Blue Ray Player. We have five children and five grandchildren and watch a lot of movies. This was the perfect addition to the extra mega huge television and surround sound system we have. We love it.

I bought this as a Black Friday special I would say you get what you pay for it’s not top quality but it does the job and using it to connect to TV to make as a smart TV is extremely convenient as well. The picture quality is what I expected I would recommend this product.

I really bought this to mate it to my 4K TV. But at this time 4K content is still not really there for me. DVDs are few and expensive. Lets hope 4K becomes the std and prices start falling soon. Device works fine for the price.

Great little player for the price. It supports Dolby atmos, uhd discs, hdr, optic audio output, and simple controls with quick boot up, loading and shutting down. Not a smart device so no online streaming services available.
