It does need to be plugged in to operate at all times.

I feel it is only slightly better than that little speaker in terms of sound.

Press the demo button as stated in owners manual and still the demo mode stays on I can’t use any other function on the speaker just demo over and over. I’m ready to take hammer and smash this thing or just throw it off the roof
