It's good sound and speaker when it's works half the time it says blue tooth error and won't connect will be returning

Works best from Bluetooth Devices not suited for AV When the RCA connected there's a constant humming sound. Good for small apartment not for Home theater systems or in basement systems

It was great while it lasted. It only lasted 2 years though! If it lasted it would have definitely been 5 stars.

I was surprised the box was so big and somewhat heavy when I got the LG RK7. I pulled the unit from the packaging and was floored as to the size of the LG RK7! It is big! I know it measured in height a little above 2 ft, but it seems much taller. The width (just over a foot), depth (just over a foot) and height (just over 2 ft) are the dimensions when the LG RK7 is standing vertical. It is pretty impressive without turning it on. The speakers included in the unit are two 6 ½” woofers and two 2” tweeters. It also comes with a remote and the LG RK7 is portable as long as you have it near an outlet. If you want ultimate flexibility with connections this LG speaker has them. There are numerous ways to get the RK7 to play music, Karaoke, DJ, Bluetooth app, radio, LG Sound Sync and connect other speaker with a “wireless party link” which will include another speaker that you have to purchase. Now the LG RK7 will play MP3/WMA files. The bit rate allows the MP3 files to play from 32-320 kbps and WMA files will play that are 40-129 kbps. The USB connection supports Flash type MP3s that support USB 2.0 or USB 1.1. I would suggest reading up on the LG RK7 to exactly know what the USB, MP3 and WMA are compatible. Admittedly it is a little confusing. Looking on the control panel which is easiest to see vertically, there are a number of options to checkout. A display window lets you see what is going on with the unit. Of course power on and off. There is a dual mode and multi mode for connecting another speaker to this LG RK7. A simple function button will help you with selecting the function of the unit and input source. The input source is very handy to select modes mentioned in the above paragraph. There are also controls for storing MP3/WMA files to the LG RK7 from a USB drive along with an Auto DJ mode which blends the songs together as they finish and begin. The lighting button controls the effects of lights the LG RK7 puts out. Lastly there is a Volume button to control, you guessed it, the volume. The back panel has connections for the FM antenna, Microphone, Aux in/out L/R, with an optical in (great way to hook it to a TV), USB (as stated earlier) and your power plug. My computer connects from Bluetooth to play music on the LG RK7. In my opinion Bluetooth is the easiest way to connect to the LG RK7 to a computer, tablet or smart phone. I was able to connect Bluetooth with a single button. I had no problems with that at all. The Aux IN connection for bluray/DVD uses audio L/R audio. Plug in your L/R cables from your player and plug the cables into the LG RK7 aux IN. It doesn’t give you the video but just the audio. The Optical IN connects to the Optical Out from your TV. This can take the place of sound bar. You just need to find somewhere to place the LG RK7, because it is on the larger size. Both of these connections are nice features. You can also store music files on the LG RK7. Set playlists and keep them or delete them at your desire. This part will take a little getting used to. There is a certain pattern that the MP3/WMA files on kept on the LG RK7. I would suggest reading up thoroughly from the manual when starting out. But once you have interacted with the files, it will come easier. The remote helps operate the speaker system easily. Once you put in the batteries you can choose your volume level. You can skip songs and use the radio. It is also possible to choose the options on the back panel as well as Clock/Alarm, sound and bass (blast, blast+). Using the remote you can also change the key (#/b) and vocal effects associated with Karaoke. You can even select lighting with this speaker system and even set up the sound for a compatible LG TV! There is a lot going on with the remote which provides a tremendous amount of convenience. There is a very cool app called “Music Flow Bluetooth” (android only). I have to admit I had trouble with this app. I couldn’t get it to perform like it is supposed too. I kept getting kicked off Bluetooth. I generally did not end up using this option. I will continue to try to set the app up the LG RK7, as it does open up other options (like an equalizer). This Speaker system seems to have it all! The lighting is another really cool feature. My favorite is setting is Firework but here is the whole collection: Rhythm, Party, Firework, Space, Water, Forest and City Glow. The settings for the lights is extremely easy to use and looks really professional. This is yet another reason to like the LG RK7 (as if you needed anymore). So if flexibility is what you seek in a Speaker system the LG RK7 fits the bill. It also has some really nice features that make this an easy reason to like the LG RK7. If you run into trouble at all, or no trouble at all, I would still recommend you thoroughly read the manual which is at www.lg.com and choose the pdf for the comprehensive one. Overall this is a great Speaker system that is ready to rock.

price seems right compared to others now! Wish it NFC had Arc that's why price seems more fitting but I personally do not need NFC and other perks that others may have

The speaker I got was the wrong one. I was disappointed more after testing the one I received. Returned it after.

It was awesome but then maybe we turned it up to loud but blew the speaker and it sounded horrible after that.

There is a ding in the front.. it wasmissing the remote

I bought this speaker after reading the specifications of 550W, speaker is not near 300W. Disappointed of how LG exaggerates on their products.

Too much for what it’s worth. I have an ion speaker that’s half the price that puts out equivalent sound.

LG Speaker Bluetooth got broken very fast Bluetooth error

This speaker is really good. It was on sale for Black Friday, and I hope you grabbed it then. The sound from this thing is very good, and very loud. If you throw parties, you will enjoy this one. The app has a DJ feature, and it's kinda useful. I don't use it much. I just play music from my device, and let it go. The bass is not too loud, or overpowering when playing music. The speaker itself it big, but not too big. It can fit in the trunk of my car, or backseat with east. It is however a very heavy speaker, but not too heavy you can't move it around. All in all, it's a good speaker for the money. You will be able to enjoy your music, and others will too.

the voice is not bad but it feeling noise when you want liosten music loudly

The LG RK7 is a really big speaker that weights about 30lbs. It has RGB lighting on the front which gets pretty bright. There are also some preinstalled sound modes and you can use an FM antenna or Bluetooth for connection. When the speaker is quiet, the sound seems kind of hollow. However, when you crank the volume the sound fills out and sounds great. Fair warning, this speaker can get very, very loud since it is an outdoor/party speaker. You can link some of them together and surround sound your back yard. Overall, it is a good speaker, just don't expect it to be easily portable.

Ok sound but don't have your bluetooth device beyond 10ft of it. My JBL speakers have double the reach and im not required to plug them in. Most inconvenient BT speaker on the market.

This speaker sounds great. It is clear and crisp with punchy base. I traded my lg fj5 speaker in for this speaker because i saw it was more powerful (550 wt). This speaker gets much louder and way less distortion at high volumes. I have never turned it up to max volume because im scared of how loud it gets and aggravating my neighbors. One little thing i have a problem with is the portability of the speaker. It has grips on the top but none on the bottom so its kinda awkward when trying to carry the speaker. I would definitely recommend buying this speaker when its on sale. I got mine for only $200 witch is an amazing deal.

The overall sound quality was ok, if it had a battery and was portable , I’d give it a five

I use the speaker just two times and when I try to use the third time the speaker doesnt work any more and I took to the store and the customer service person told me they can't do it nothing about it
