If you’re an audiophile, you probably won’t like this system. If you want something that’s loud with lots of features with ok sound and is not too expensive then it’s a great value (especially when on sale). I suspect the speakers are the weak link. The system overall lacks clear treble but when hooked up to different speakers (making sure speakers are 3 ohms or higher) the sound is dramatically improved. There are too many presets that are redundant. I personally would prefer fewer presets in lieu of a 3 or 5 band EQ. The fact that you can record any audio source easily to a flash drive along with the many other features makes it a great value though.

I purchased this two years ago and it has held up well has good sound. I listen to it often and it’s good value and a good price.

I am so glad I purchased this LG Boom Box. The sound is great and it is everything advertised. I would purchase this stereo again. Great Buy!!!!

If you're wanting a quality shelf stereo in this style, and at the price point, the options are few. I read reviews, manufacturer claims, watched video reviews, and searched into the tiniest corners of the web in hopes of finding a common opinion on this system and many others. The only thing I was left with was the feeling that everything left on the market was a compromise of either features, sound, design, functionality, or durability. Basically I talked myself into buying this unit, and tried to convince myself that it would sound good enough or maybe even great for the cost. Despite having 20 or more pretuned equalizer settings the only 1 that gets close to sounding good is pop. Even the extra bass setting, which this unit is marketed towards, doesn't sound good. I'm no audiophile by any means and I keep trying to convince myself that good sound will come from this stereo if I keep adjusting it, but it never does. The other features of this system are either outdated or oddly specific. For example being able to record to a USB drive is nice if I could find a practical reason to record and play songs to and from a thumb drive. The party play mode allows 3 different users to add songs via Bluetooth in a playlist style. That's great if you have two friends with songs downloaded on their device and all have the required app set up to add those files to the playlist and the desire to take turns listening to each other's songs. It's not likely to happen and even if it did, how often would it be worth the trouble? You have the option to connect the stereo wirelessly to a compatible LG tv, which again is nice if you just so happen to own an LG tv that has the matching software. I own an LG TV but it isn't compatible, and yours most likely won't be either. It's not all bad, and I knew the features were not going to work for me when I bought it. It is loud, and at times sounds good enough for me to be satisfied with the amount of money spent. If you are looking for a cd player, am/fm radio, have a need to record or play to/from a flash drive, or need a stereo to pair with your LG TV this is one of a few options left in 2020. The app that is recommended for this system will control input, EQ, and volume which comes in handy often. I wanted something loud, and it definitely meets the mark there as well. Everything works as advertised but nothing stands out as excellent or must have.

Bought this while browsing store for stereo, just opened it to set up on Father’s Day, we were amazed by the sound that this stereo produces, I even got the 4 year warranty just in case because the last stereo I purchased had a warranty as well but died 2 weeks after the warranty expired. I know we will enjoy this one…

Awesome sound, deep bass, and super loud... Used it for an outdoor party and I got the cops called it was so loud... Bluetooth is a huge plus

I was looking for a garage stereo. I chose this one because of audio capabilities. Aux cable,bluetooth, disc player, radio. I hoped with the subwoofer it would have good sound. I was more than satisfied with the sound quality. I've only had it for a month but so far so good.

This little bookshelf stereo has so much power. I’m loving it, I wish the speakers wires were longer. But overall I’m happy.

EXCELLENT! I bought this for my husband as a xmas gift and it has been awesome! He uses it as surround sound and to play music etc. This system gets really loud (louder than I care for) and sounds so clear. This was def and good buy and would highly recommend it!

Love this purchase. The bass sound is the best. Really like the 3rd speaker aspect. I picked this one cause it was the only one in the store I could listen to. Would never buy a stereo I could not listen to first.

Not as BUMPIN as I remember steros like this being when I was a kid with one, but overall a great product. Purchased for our 10yr old as she LOVES music and it is perfect for her. Nothing more nostalgic than whippin out the old CD case! Lol
