The lights are cool and the battery life is long does not get very loud compared to the smaller pk3 from LG which I don’t understand why that is.

It is rugged and adds some nice lighting effects to where you are. The only major problem is the battery life. It says 18, but the battery life is only 7 hours in reality.

It’s good but not great!

The iOS app for this speaker DOESN’T work so don’t bother downloading it, it works great for Android though.

Good speaker good price

The Bluetooth connection wouldn't happen. After a failed reset I just returned it for a more superior speaker.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The speaker itself isn't overly large, but the handles on all four corners, sort of like a cage around the speaker, make it rather heavy and bulky for it's size. I guess it could be considered convenient for carrying, but in that case one handle would suffice. Sound quality is decent, but the speaker really lacks in the treble range. Dull and muffled highs, with a decent amount of bass for the speaker size. This is with the clear vocals and enhanced bass on. With those off the speaker really sounds poor. Overall volume level is fairly loud for this size speaker, but when you max it out the sound does get rough. Feature wise, the speaker uses USB C, which means all those micro usb cables you have laying around won't work. No power brick included, which is annoying. The lighting is a neat option, but more of a gimmick that will just eat battery life if left on. The PK5 is compatible with the LG Music Flow android app, so you can use that to tweak settings and sound. It won't connect to larger LG speakers like the FH6 or FJ5 via link, however. Battery life is good for this size speaker. Speaker is also water resistant, but not waterproof. Overall, this is a neat little speaker, but larger and bulkier than something like the JBL Flip4. Sound quality is mediocre, but battery life is good. There are a lot of bluetooth speakers on the market and this one does have some strengths, but also has some weaknesses.
