Got the Blu Ray Combo for $5 which is a steal for this movie. Ordered online and picked up at the store the same day which I think was convenient for me as best buy is very near to where I live. The Blu Ray quality is great and it was super easy to add to my UV catalog. You shall get plenty of critic review on IMDB and RT so I am not doing that.

Great movie and a great price. It is about a young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger.

The 3D aspect of this movie made the visuals very realistic, combined with unbelievable imagery, truly amazed me. I'm enjoying the movie plot, when the clarity, and texture made me feel like what seeing is real, right in front of me. A must see for 3D movie lovers.

This is by far my #1 pick for must see 3D. Granted I've only seen a few but this was something else entirely. The color, depth, and effects are indescribable. Most people would say watch Avatar first but I say this one is better, not to mention I enjoyed the story too. Up next for me is Gravity and Hugo, looking forward to it.

I am a movie collector. I added this movie to my collection because it visually stunning engages one in the wonders of life. This movie is/was pretty popular, however I did not see it in the theater and had no real expectations about the movie. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted. A great buy for a great price too!!

The Life of Pi is an excellent movie in itself and in 4K it looks stunning. The great visuals make this an excellent choice for the relatively new 4K format. I would highly recommend this if you are a fan of the movie and if you have not see in, it is definitely worth a buy in this format.

Liked it when I saw it few years back but nothing special about the 4k. Second time it wasn’t that entertaining.

I'd seen this movie a while back, when it first came out in theaters. So, when It was available very inexpensively on Blue Ray, was happy to add it to my collection of movies with watching again, as it's an interesting movie metaphor with the exotic animals taking on the roles of the people in the story.

This movie promises to make you believe on God, which is a bit much. However, it does make a good arguement for the power of story telling. It is beautiful and very engaging. I stupidly read the Wikipedia page before watching the movie, but it still made me forget the spoilers while watching it.

I have watched this movie several times. I have found it immensely interesting each time. It’s one way of exploring the human mind and how we cope with highly stressful situations in rather creative ways.

The film is supremely spiritual in every frame, yet, if one is paying attention, it winds up as somewhat of a Trojan Horse in what it ultimate reveals about religion. I'm trying hard not to provide a spoiler here, but there are five words spoken by the adult Pi at the end of the film that viewers seem to miss that spell it out.

Life of Pi will likely find its way into the home video libraries of those who love films, and this was an excellent value for any size collection. In addition to being a technical tour de force, Life of Pi tells a gripping story that's part adventure and part coming-of-age, with philosophical questions throughout.

This movie has more to offer than the face value would indicate. The commercials and trailers didn't really do this movie justice, but fortunately, they also don't spoil the surprise this family movie holds. It is a great uplifting and purposeful movie that is undoubtedly ang lee's best work since crouching tiger hidden dragon.

Bought this movie to watch it on my new 4K tv, and it did not disappoint in the slightest! Personally, I think that the story is extremely compelling, beautifully crafted, and visually stunning. If you want to watch something that will ensure you get the most out of your device, watch this movie.

In short the movie is pretty good, moves at a decent pace and the story is good. The acting is definitely noteworthy and is an absolute pleasure to watch. More than the acting what amazed me about this move was the graphics. If you have a good TV it will be an absolute joy to your eyes.

I really loved this movie. Such a great story and the 4k version did not disappoint in both picture and sound quality. The acting was wonderful, the story was captivating and suspenseful and I will definitely watch it again!

What a ride! The imagination of this beautiful story, could only be matched by it's amazing cinematography, and computer graphics! This twisting tale, will lead you from sadness to elation, through the imagination of the main character. Did it happen the way he said, or is it all symbology ? you decide...

'Life of Pi' done properly in 'Ultra 4K in HDR' is a virtual feast for the eyes!! The sound quality in 7. DTS-HD is superb!! I always thought than this movie was a sleeper with its insight into individualized spirituality. It has become a new personal favorite........highly recommended!!

It's Pokemon, essentially the same game as all the previous entries. However, in my opinion what sets this apart is the vast amount of dialogue (story and character building?). I love a great story in a game. But the first few hours so far can be annoying due to all the dialogue to get through. I'm still enjoying the game though, and I would recommend it to Pokemon players new and old.
