Everyone in my family liked this movie and the 3D was really good. This is really good movie to show off the 3D wow factor of my new home theater setup with a good story to boot.

I recently entered the 4k game and was told this was a must have, so this was my first purchase and I was not disappointed the picture was amazing and with HDR I was blown away.

Surprisingly good. So nuanced. Can watch it several times and keep getting new information that makes the story even more interesting. Usually don’t like movies with computer generated images but it worked so well to pull the viewer into the story. Well worth the purchase.

This movie is most creative i has seen in years since EAT PRAy LOve (julia Roberts.). Takes me on adventures and places feels like im there with this boy. by the way got a great price too.

IT ANSWERS THE QUESTION " HOW DO YOU SURVIVE A SHIPWRECK WHEN YOU HAVE A TIGER IN THE LIFEBOAT WITH YOU". LOVED THE SCENES WITH THE MEERKATS AND THE WHALE. GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS.

Incredible cinematic renditions of a delightful plot. Well directed and well acted, the use of color and CGI in this film is well done.

First of all, the movie is great, have to watch it more than once to really understand. I have the 4k version and it really does look amazing on my 4k oled tv. Truly beautiful!

Ang Lee always amazes me (yes even Hulk). I thought this story was really good and it made me think. I was happy to find this film. The story moves at a decent pace and the scenes are really beautiful.

In an age where digital effects improve at a rapid rate, Life of Pie manages to do something very special. Ang Lee delivers an awe-inspiring look into one mans journey.

Great family friendly film. Visually stunning, with a great story that has you emotionally invested. I paid only $4.99 for it during a after Christmas winter movie sale at my local Best Buy.

Oh wow! If u ever wanna show off ur 4k movie collection, start with this! To think it wasn’t shot at all in 4k is outrageous but still stunning to say the least!

There is a lot of build up in the plot, imho i didn't feel it hit the mark. It was a good movie though. I couldn't help but notice how one of the characters looked alot like Ryan Reynolds. 3D effects was not over the top, only regret is i wish i had a 60" or larger to watch this with :-).

After reading numerous reviews regarding the beautiful picture quality, I waited until this went on sale. This movie displays wonderfully on a 4K TV; an overall great buy.

This movie was worth the nomination for best picture, it has a lot of moments of human self searching and spiritual awareness. I didn't know that a movie mainly with one character could be so good.

If you own a 3D TV, a 3d film library is great to have for both kids and adults. "Life of Pi" is a wonderful addition. It also includes Blu-ray and digital copies for non 3D viewing.

A film that leaves you speechless and spellbound the entirely of its 2 hours. While truly meant for 3D, and all the more magical because of it, the 4K is just as enchanting.

I was a bit skeptical of the movie, it didn't seem exciting enough to watch. The story telling is superb and the visuals are extraordinary. Once I saw it, I had to buy it!

One of the most beautiful films I own, simply a visual masterpiece. If you think it's just a story about a young man stuck on a life raft with a tiger, you are sorely underestimating this one!

Only found out about this movie because of academy awards. Had to buy it. Excellent movie, very well done. Special features are amazing with the director telling you how they accomplished everything.
