"Life Of Pi" is just one of those movies that makes you reevaluate your life and everyone around you. A classic story turned into a 3D special effects parade filled with heart, terror, and wonder.

This is the best BLUNRAY TO SHOW OFF YOUR 4K tv to friends and family! A must Own!

For those who don't get much out of 3D, (unless it's animated), this visual spectacle takes the cake! It's a poignant story of self-discovery that happens to look fantastic in said format.

I've seen this movie before but got this just to enjoy the visuals in 4K HDR - it was worth it...amazing film.

The movie itself if great and now having it in 4K with UHD makes it look even more spectacular.

Life of Pi is an awesome story about survival out at sea. The movie is safe for family watch... though some little kids may get bored or need extra explaining at the end. Really love the cgi scenes.

since we just bought the new Samsung DVD player we were finally able to watch it on blue ray, and really enjoyed it.

Movie is a little slow starting but it will facinate you for the rest of the movie. Best cinematography I've seen in a while.

Supposedly the story this was based on was deemed impossible to make into a movie. Well, it seems as though they did a pretty good job. I'll have to watch it again to catch all the details and nuances.

The blu-ray has great picture and sound quality. The movie itself is very good, with a great spiritual message. Recommended to all.

ang lee is an amazing director and it's a true representation of the book. well acted and the FX were stunning. watch it.
