The story came to life by the cinematography. Wow!

This movie reminds of of another movie. That movie is Castaway with Tom Hanks. The secret life of Pi in my opinion is the adolescent version of Castaway with a slight twist. However it is still a good movie and worth the watch.

Great movie with stunning visual effects on my 3D TV.

pretty good movie with a new interesting plot line

Not only is the story of Life of Pi captivating, but for those movie-lovers there are plenty of extras in the special features of the combo pack that will walk through how they created the look and feel of the movie and the filming experience.

I bought this DVD to experiment the 3D features of my new LG TV. A very colorful with nice 3D effects. Very enjoyable. Although I did not like the story very much. The DVD comes in 3 discs for extra bonus, non-3D version, etc.

I went quite sure about this movie at first, but once I started to watch it I couldn't get out of my seat. Great color, great movie line, and very inspirational when it come to humans and nature.

I went into this movie expecting it to be a little bit more of a religious movie but found that it was pretty much undecided. Beware I have a spoiler here--the underlying story is actually very dark. I didn't think this was the worst movie I've ever seen but I didn't think it was particularly good either, and I went into it and wanting to love it. It is slow and chose a darker path in the end.

Good movie but slow at times and very drawn out. Great special effects and graphics. Very good sound as well.

Purchased this movie along with my 4k Blu-ray player. Heard it was very good graphics. Graphics were ok, movie not so much.

Takes a long time to get going, but "Life with Pi" is a worthwhile experience. 3D presentation is beautiful.

This one leaves you guessing until the end. A great tale of man vs himself and nature.

Dvd was scratched - Best Buy would not accept return since opened (even though was same day)

This is a cute movie but slow moving at times. Not for younger kids with little attention span.
