I went into this movie expecting it to be a little bit more of a religious movie but found that it was pretty much undecided. Beware I have a spoiler here--the underlying story is actually very dark. I didn't think this was the worst movie I've ever seen but I didn't think it was particularly good either, and I went into it and wanting to love it. It is slow and chose a darker path in the end.

I almost wanted to turn it off after thirty minutes. Very slow paced. It got better after awhile but not enough to ever watch it again. No one in my family liked it either. They wished it would have just got to the point.

This is a very gruesome movie with an even more gruesome twist at the end of the movie. I kept waiting for the story to get better. Sorry to say, it didn't. Nothing except the cinematography to enjoy in this movie.

Life of Pi was OK, but not a film I would ever go back and watch a second time. The setup was too long, story dragged on, action was minimal and you are just biding time til the movie is over.

Overall movie was just ok for me. Was touted as the next Avatar and was nowhere near that movie, so I was disappointed in that respect. Probably wont watch too many times, Good value for the price.

I do like the stories behind it but it was hard to get into and understand. I thought there would be more animals in this movie. I was disappointed.

According to the write up they said this was good as lion king, I beg to differ these I no way can compare. I was very disappointed.

The movie started off pretty slow, it was not at all what I had expected, probably won't watch it again.

Fell asleep. Some good scenes but too much dialog. Watched with 3 friends. All of us fett "thumbs down".

I didn't like this movie. Granted, I missed it in theaters. Just okay. Nothing special.

Bought the movie for the 3D effects. Did not know what the movie was about.

I was disappointed when critics compared this film to Avavtar, the special effects were just ok, the computer generation just does not compare to Avatar.The plot was ok. I did not have an entertained experience cerebally. Pretty much a long boring movie.
