It broke less than 6 months after purchase and I had to get an Otterbox

I followed all the instructions and did not worked under water. Now I have a death ipod thanks to lifeproof.

I am so sorry, but I did not like this iPod case. It's just a clear case. Want to get a more stylish one.

Returned it and purchased the silicone style for my new iPod again very happy now

Not good for nine year old. Too hard to use. I was very disappointed.

Overall, I think this is a good case to protect your ipod. I found that putting the protective clear screen was not as easy as they stated. It was hard to do it without getting air bubbles since it is in the case already as you are trying to put the plastic protector on. In the end, I ended up with what is called Newton Rings (rainbow marks) on the screen which I guess is common with this product. Those I can live with knowing that my ipod is completely protected from the elements.

I thought the case was a total rip off when I saw the stickers, but they actually work. I put the case in a pool with me, not a single drop of water! I dropped it from five feet, no problems! Submerged it in mud for two minutes, no worries! I'm not a fan of the stickers, but Life proof is nice enough to send you free replacement ones i you mess up. The stickers are hard to put on because they have to be perfect to work, but if they're straight, it works!! All in all, the case is great and worth the money, Big time.

i really recomend this product even for the price it still is a really good case. but if you are looking for a case you can take on and off this definly isnt for you. it isnt like the iphone life proof cases. thsi case comes with one peices which is plastic (which is really protective ) and that peice goes on the back where the front is a really heavy duty screen protecture .this is a pretty amazing case and it makes your i pod kinda feel like a phone bt still really slim and proective defintly buy this product

I absolutely love this case. I bought it because I am a swimmer and basically live in the water. I figured it would be great because then I could get it wet. It has been so helpful. It is completely waterproof. I film my students underwater so they can see what they are doing right or wrong. The only thing I do not like, is the fact that you have to use the audio jack adaptor for certain audio jacks and the screen protector sometimes sticks to the screen in certain spots and it makes little rainbow spots. But they are only visible if the screen is at the correct angle. Any way, you must make some sacrifices to make your ipod water proof. It is worth every penny!

We purchased this product for my daughter's iPod. It did a great job of protecting the iPod without adding much bulk at all. However, the power button would not work at all while in this case. After putting up with this issue for about 2 months, we decided to take the case off and put the old one back on. The down side of this, and the reason why it took so long to come to that point, is that the front cover has adhesive on the back to adhere to the back and side covering case. I was not in any hurry to peel it off and potentially lose the strength of the adhesive. Not very happy with this not-exactly-inexpensive item.

I've always liked lifeproof cases and they always deliver when they come to protecting your electronics. But this case didn't sell me all the way. I can see where it can survive drops and scrapes but not water. It's a one piece case with a screen protector you have to put on. The screen doesn't have an o-ring to protect against water. So far I don't feel like I can trust this case in water yet. Also, the designers made the headphone jack to the minimal size so the only headphones you can fit in the whole without using the annoying screw in adapter is the Apple ones that came with the iPod.

Case works great and fits great on 5th Generation iPod touch. Box says will fit 6th Generation also but can't confirm that. It is different than the case for the iPhone though and that threw us off a little. There isn't a top & bottom part of the case, it's the bottom and then basically a screen protector that seals to the case, providing a seal around the top. Haven't done a subversive test as we wanted it more for being splashed and wet hands on the boat.

So I guess if you only want one case and plan on never changing it then this case is cool. It is definitely a high quality case and they even designed it to cover the ports. it really is lifeproof. The only thing I did not like was that the case completely seals up. I wish the front was maybe a snap closure of some sort...like a gopro case.

Sturdy and made well. Holds the Ipod securely and we are glad to have the extra protection.
