Definitely great protection for my brand new iPod touch, but....... The logo on the back of the unit is displeasing to the eye. Not very attractive. I have THREE separate sets of earbuds and not ONE of them remains plugged in as a result of the cover. I have to remove the cover from the unit in order to use any earbuds with the player. Defeats the purpose when I'm mobile & can't have the protection on. :(

The iPod itself is pretty slippery in your hand the case adds a little grip. But not too bulky still fits in a T-shirt pocket. Need to use a firm push on the outer buttons to get them to work. Comes with two screen protectors white and black. I can plug headphones in without adapter.

Ok but too bad it's a one time use. Yes, if you need to or for any personal reson you remove it, you have then used up the adhesive on the clear cover and you will need to buy a new case. I learned the hard way. But over all, it does work as designed and it's not bulky... Very light and slim.

Pro: Slim design, nice clear look Con: Doesn't necessarily function well with iPod. I bought this case a week and 1/2 ago. Installed it myself and the power button on top was not functioning. I tried shifting the case but to no avail. I exchanged it after a few days thinking it may have just been a bad case and had Best Buy staff install the iPod, the case worked.... for a day. Then i began having the same issues where the power button where it no longer function properly. Sometimes turning the iPod on when I didn't want I to, sometimes not letting me turn it off at all. The button works perfectly fine without the case. I finally just returned the case this evening and went back to a simple case. I think this thing needs a few more design tweaks.

This case is a must for your iPod, especially if being used by a child. This case protects it from damage during drops.

I loved that the case was clear to display the beautiful color of my iPod. But when I attempted to use headphones I found that the hole for the headphone jack was too small & the jack wouldn't go all the way in. I would've had to remove the case every time I wanted to use headphones! I was very disappointed & returned it for that reason. However I also wasn't a fan of the stick on cover.

Overall, did not feel good in hand, slid too easy on surfaces, and the LifeProof stamp on the rear clear part was not visually pleasing. Overpriced for design. Took back and got the Otterman Defender..WAY better look, feel, and $15 less.

Great case for unexpected accidents. Without it my iPod would have been damaged.

When I first got this I was a little nervous to test it... The next minuet I was looking over my sink at my iPod, then I noticed little bubbles so I pulled it out and took the case off. (Not much water got in so my iPod is fine) I went back to Best Buy to get a new one. And they even put the screen on for me, when I got home I tested it again (with my iPod off) and while it was in the sink I went to do something really quick. About 30-1:00 later I came rushing back to my iPod to see that no water got in.

I like the fact that you can see the color of the iPod Touch. I don't like the film that covers the screen. Cause if I want to take the case off to connect it to my car charger I have to use another one. The sound is also bad. My daughter tried to FaceTime her cousins and they could barely hear her but when the case came off they could hear her.

Worst product and customer service I have EVER dealt with. I purchased the Lifeproof Fre fre for my Ipod touch 5. The product states it's waterproof to 6.6 ft. I dropped my Ipod in 6 INCHES of seawater and the case failed. My Ipod was wet and now doesn't work. So I called Lifeproof because it was their product that failed and was told they would replace the case (for a device that I essentially no longer have) but won't fix or reimburse for the Ipod. If I had known that their product wouldn't do what they advertised I would've never purchased it. I will never buy a lifeproof product again and they can be sure I will tell everyone I know not to purchase their products either. Thanks for nothing Lifeproof.

Once the IPOD is sealed inside the case it can NOT be removed. Also the power button seems to stick causing the IPOD to randomly give the option to turn it off or make it next to impossible to get it to turn back on and causes the apple symbol to flash on and off the screen. I am not really sure how I could return this item since once it's on the IPOD it can NOT be removed with tearing up the case ie the clear plastic film for screen. WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT BUY. IT IS NOT LIKE THE IPHONE LIFEPROOF CASE THAT HAS A HARD FRONT AND BACK. All it is, is a hard back and a film screen protector for the front.

After buying an Ipod I needed a case. The case had some differing reviews but the first time I took the case out of the packaging I could tell it was very good. It fits easily onto the Ipod and has a very sleek and non-bulky design. It was a very good investment for my new Ipod.

This case is perfect for anyone who has an iPod touch 5th/6th generation. It has fallen several times while on the treadmill at the gym and the case still looks new. Another reason I like this case is because of the clear backing. I like that the iPod color is exposed in the back and not all covered up.

I purchased 2 of these for my step-kids for their brand new 5th Gen iPods. There is great difficulty in using the lock button. It is very touchy and sometimes won't respond at all. Other times it is greatly delayed. The method of "water-proofing" the case is quite cheesy also, it consists of a adhesive panel that goes on the front of the case. I expected much better quality, especially after purchasing a Fre for my iPhone.

This case works perfectly for my Ipod Touch. It's easy to use my Touch while in this case.

the power button would not turn the iPod off. It made the iPod flash on and off. Exchanged it, same problem. Tested the defect with two other iPod touch 5's. Same problem on all of them. Two older Lifeproof cases work well. Design flaw on newer cases?
