$50 is way too much to pay for this case. First of all, the power button does not work properly. Sometimes, you barely touch it while playing a game and it shuts off, and other times you have to practically crush the case to turn it off. Another problem is that you can't test it to make sure that it will be waterproof. The plastic screen protector is held on by a cheap strip of glue. Do not buy, low quality, way overpriced. I am returning it ASAP. I expected better from lifeproof...

My daughter needed a case for her new IPOD. This case was exactly what she wanted and what I thought she needed to protect it. It was a win-win situation for both of us !!!!

I purchased this for my iPod Touch, but was really disappointed. It seemed cheaply made for the price. Did not think it would give it much protection. I returned it and bought an Otter-box instead. I have friends who like theirs, but it was not for me.

I don't write reviews but my lifeproof was awesome but the first time I took it underwater in a pool ( I was 3 feet ) I came up and I turned it around and I saw a huge puddle NOT AMUSED I HAD IT PUT ON BY A BEST BUY EMPLOYEE

It does protect my ipod..However i am not positive a cheaper version would not do the same. It has covers for all input areas which helps protect from water damage, i would say this is the best feature! I have had water damage in the past, and this is why I bought this model. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Way better than other life proofs and awesome price

I got this a year ago today and it has gone through hell. One thing I like about it is that when replaced the screen protector, there wasn't a single scratch on the screen. However, if you are looking for a waterproof case look elsewhere. The screen protector is fine, but the bottom where you plug in headphones and cables is awful. Mine actually have gotten ripped off accidentally.

I bought this for my teenager for Christmas. What a huge disappointment. 1. The front, as others have mentioned, is a sticker! So unlike other cases you cannot take it off. Yes, the case comes with 2 stickers. 2. The bulk of the tabs on the bottom prevent it from being able to dock on an ihome devise (another Christmas gift). 3. These port tabs also prevent her from being able to charge her ipod and use earbuds at the same time. 4. The case doesn't line up right with the power button so it constantly turns the ipod on & off and takes screen shots every time you push the home button. 5. There is rainbow like sheen on the screen when you touch it.

I’ve used lifeproof cases for iPads for years and was impressed. I was disappointed to find out this case has a sticker for the front, rendering it impossible to remove the device from the case without leaving the case useless. Furthermore, the little tab that covers the charging port is already tearing and I’ve only been using it less than 2 months. This was definitely a waste of money. I expected more from Lifeproof.

You know something is not trivial if Best Buy won't install this but they declined and while they wouldn't say why. The only reason appears the difficulty and rejection/returns they had. I purchased an Otter box installed it myself, saved $10 and decided I didn't want to test to see if it really was water proof.

Great case for keeping your ipod safe around water

I NEVER write reviews but this Lifeproof case is so off the mark I felt compelled. I have used Lifeproof cases in the past for iPhones and met with great success. This product must be their red-headed step child! First of all, this thing costs 50 bucks. For that kind of money, I didn't expect what I got. IT'S NOT A CASE!!! It's half a case and a sticker! I don't know how they can claim this "case" is anywhere near the type of protection most people are looking for, or have become accustomed to, when they buy a Lifeproof case. Also, when applying the sticker to the front, it's quite impossible to get all the air bubbles out making your iPod screen look really messed up. And you can't get it off once it's on. I would steer very clear of this one! Hope this helps somebody.

This case is ok if your not going to take it underwater. I got this gift for Christmas because I wanted to take it underwater and when I finally get it I put it on and try it out in water. When I pulled it out of the water there was water in the case. This is a really frustrating thing to return in 15 days at Chrsitmas time. I wouldn't recommend buy it unless your not taking it underwater

I had one for my 5s loved it! Very durable!! Waterproof can't really ask for a better case

I bought the life proof for the ipod touch because I have young kids. I like the protective case to protect from drops. I especially like the clear cover that protects the screen but is still sensitive enough to swipe and press the screen. Good product.

Love the look. Love the ruggedness for my young son. Love that it protects the itouch and keeps it looking brand new!

This is not like the life proof cases I'm used to. You snap your ipod into a piece just for the back and the top is like a sticker screen protector. I doubt that makes it waterproof and I'm not willing to test it out. I spent $50 dollars on this so I will have to wait a while before I replace it with the otter box. In the past I have been pleased with Life proof but this particular case does not compare to their other products. If you are looking for something heavy duty do not get this case. Only the back is really protected.

I bought this for my 12 year old who had dropped her previous I pod in the toilet and figured this would make her new I Pod indestructible :) I did like the sleek design and that it is see through. However my daughter uses her I pod to listen to music a lot and it is a pain to take the connector plug in and out to attach headphones. Because it is so thick at the bottom she could not fit it on her I Home either. After 1 week of use the surface was also very scratched. Bottom line, if you are planning on using it for a day at the beach or going to the pool it might be good but for the price I don't think it is a good everyday case.

This case is awful! Bulky and Does not keep dirt and dust out! The headphone jack is essentially not functional without using the included adapter, which gets annoying fast. I have removed my itouch from the case and basically ate $50! Extremely dissapointed
