It does protect the phone however, it is hard to plug it in to charge it with the case on. I find myself having to take the case off to do so. I also think the price is quite high. Not sure why the iPhone 5c is so hard to find a decent case for.

Purchased for daughter to ensure her phone (investment) is safe and hopefully will last at least 4 years.

This is an awesome case and would recommend it to anyone. It is waterproof and exactly what I needed.

Bought this case for my daughter's iphone 5c. The biggest issue we have with it, is replacement chargers or chargers with adapters on the end do not fit through the case opening. Every night she has to take the case off in order to charge the phone, then put it back on in the morning. It obviously isn't going to last long or be waterproof if that continues.

It was a gift and my son likes it a bit pricey but the phone is safe

This is an awesome case if you are wanting to take your phone w/u to the beach, pool ,etc. The underwater pics are amazing & its great overall. My daughter has dropped her phone in this a few times & no damage/scratches etc. Its also slimmer than Otterbox, which is nice to fit in a back pocket.

I researched dozens of cases for my iPhone and this one met all of the criteria I was looking for. We live on the lake so I definitely needed a waterproof case. I also have small children so I wanted to feel confident that my phone was safe from scratches and breaks if one of them was using it.

I bought this case for my 13yr old son. The case does a great job and holds up to its claims.

My wife says I am a fool, but I watch Tv in the shower. LifeProof is everything it says it is.

if you are looking for a case where you can take pictures underwater, this is a good option.

Love the lifeproof case. I like the clear back so you can see the color of the phone. Great style. I love the fact that I am protected if I drop it, if It accidently gets wet, and it's even dust and snow proof. I feel a lot more comfortable carrying it and not worrying about dropping it.
