Ive always used Lifeproof, they really are the best.

This case is absolutely essential to maintaining your phone for long term. Especially if you work outdoors in the elements and with concrete and sawdust all around. This case is amazing, not bulky or heavy either!

I would've given this a five star rating if it wasn't for the fact that sometimes the fingerprint detector doesn't work with this case. It has a thin membrane over the home button to allow for water submersion protection however I've noticed this occasionally interferes with the fingerprint ID. Other than that it seems to provide excellent drop protection, over the last couple months I have abused my phone as normal occasionally chucking it across the parking lot when I get out of my car with it still in my lap. A couple scratches on the screen protector now likely from my keys which I keep in the same front pocket, but better than in the screen itself.

This case does not feel bulky and it's not hard to get out of my pocket since it's not rubber. The sound quality is good and I don't notice any rainbowing on the screen. It does have a strip of rubber around the face that I wish was around the back instead, just for the confidence that I won't drop the phone. One of the sales people said they did not recommend it...but I'm glad I went with it anyways. I was tired of the bulky Otter case I'd been using for years. I have dropped the phone a couple of times and nothing happened. Be sure to clean everything well before putting your phone in it. It is a VERY tight seal and not the easiest to take in and out. But that makes it waterproof so I'm fine with the struggle every once and a while.

The case is a good bit larger than the phone so I hope you have big pockets! The material makes the phone easy to grip so less fumbling when using with 1 hand. The quality of phone calls are horrible, the person on the phone will sound muffled and difficult to hear even at the highest volume. Even just road noise is loud enough to completely drown out the person on the phone and make a conversation impossible. You will sound very muffled to the person you are talking to so be prepared to repeat what you say often. The phone volume is cut down quite a bit so listening to music will not be nearly as loud although it still sounds clear. The phone is definitely protected in this case but with the loss of using your iPhone as an actual phone, you might as well just carry your phone around in the retail box until you need to use it!

I tend to drop my phone a lot and sometime into water. This brand of case has saved me so much head ache. The down side is people you are calling have a hard time hearing you through the case on a phone call.

I bought this product expecting great protection for my phone and it has delivered. The unexpected feature for me is how easily it slides in and out of my pocket. Great product!

Even though most reviews I have read have been negative about this product I figured I would give it a shot. I originally had the commuter Otterbox on my Iphone 6s plus with a Zagg glass screen protector but I work in manufacturing plant and wasn't to crazy about the dust caking up in open areas so I wanted to try something new. Out of the box, I was impressed with how the case looked and felt before I even had the phone in it. While I don't have to submerge an expensive phone in water, I did a submersion test like they recommend and all went well with that. I left the glass screen protector since those are not cheap in my opinion, I proceeded to put the case on and it fit just fine although the screen protector on the case protrudes a bit due to the screen protector on the phone, the case still fits and does its job so this does not bother me. I called my voicemail to test how the sound quality when making a call, all seemed well, may have been a bit muffled but is not a deal breaker for me since I would rather have the protection. I have yet to make a outgoing to test how I can be heard. I mainly text so, once again. it is not a deal breaker. I accessed Itunes and listened to some music on it. This is where sound was seeming to be a bit muffled. I left all ports closed off like they are and noticed if I flipped the phone screen down it seemed to sound closer to normal. This was the reason for the 3 star review. When I listen to music or watch videos on my phone, 98% of the time it is through headphones (which the case comes with an adapter for such thing) or hook up with a bluetooth speaker so once again not a deal breaker, but it is just enough of a problem to be brought up. Only had it on for about an hour and tested the main "bad points" so time will tell, but so far so good! I like the feel of this case over my Otterbox and is not as slippery as it is with the Otterbox so far. A person needs to press somewhat hard on the power button to wake your phone up I imagine that will break in after a bit. The switch for silence/ringer switch works just fine. Update: I had a phone call while writing this review, all went well, caller said what a few times I tend to mumble sometimes so not too sure on call quality yet.

After my Otterbox began to degrade, decided to pick up a Lifeproof. Found the design to be very sleek especially with the protection the case provides. Also, no more worrying about using my phone in the rain.

Due to the speaker ports being covered you have to adjust the volume accordingly to hear and then readjust when connecting to a Bluetooth device. That was my only problem but I realize it's like that due to the water protection.

Was exactly what I was looking for to protect my phone.

Needed a phone case that was waterproof as I'm always around water. Decided on this life proof case because of this feature. Had to water test it first before being completely confident in it. Works like a charm.
