Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

Unfortunately wet conditions will hinder the touchscreen function with or without the case but you should be able to use the volume buttons underwater to capture photos.
