Very difficult to hear unless you have it on speaker. I would not suggest the phone case to anyone. It was absolutely NOT worth the $100 I paid for it. I would not even pay $1 for it.

We’re sorry that this FRE case seems to be muffling the sound from your iPhone. We understand why that would be disappointing and we definitely want to help with this unusual situation. Of course, a slight degradation of sound can be expected when a speaker is covered in a case, but this impact should be minimal. Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker membrane on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first. Try and pay special attention to make sure the speakers on your phone are lining up correctly with the vents on the case. This will allow for a clear path of sound. If you find the issue persists, please feel free to reach out to us at 1-888-533-0735, and we’ll be more than happy to set you up with a warranty claim for a replacement.
