Hard to beat the Lifeproof case.

He told me that the case was waterproof, not just water resistant. Bought my first one two days later.

I have dropped my phone, taken it on the river, and put it in other situations that would have cracked the screen or stopped it working. But with a Lifeproof case it stays like new.

Costs less than the Lifeproof FRE case and is superior since that one has a bezel that makes swiping up form the bottom difficult and also lacks a screen protector.

No issues with any of the chargers that I've used. I have not tried it in water yet and hopefully will work as designed.
