The case works well. It protects the phone well and allows for most phone operations. The case did wear out after a little more than a year. I had to remove the phone from the case to use headphones other than the standard ear buds. The cases headphone jack opening is too narrow to use with Bose QC-20i ear buds.

Did not like this. Did the water test which failed. Did not like the feel, look, and having to use a separate adapter to use my head phones.

The rep checked me out for two iPhones 5c did bother to inform improper case. So had to go back and find the proper one which is great.

Just remember if water leaks in...phone not covered under normal warranty. In pool 2nd time when water leaked in. Do not trust it.

This is our second Lifeproof case for an iphone. Switching to a newer version of the iphone necessitated a new case and Lifeproof was the choice over Otterbox for our teenager. The case is lighter and much easier to take on and off. I would recommend this for any teenager.

I would not recamend the case cause my date did not like it because it broke on him

I purchased this case as a replacement for my first lifeproof which had taken over a years worth of abuse. I have taken my phone in the ocean, in pool, and anywhere else you can imagine. The underwater photo quality is great. I can say that these cases are built to last. My other case is still fine (besides a-ton of scratches) I just bought a new one to assure the water proof abilities. I love this case and will always stick with lifeproof!

I have a hard time "hanging up" after conversations

I bought this because we were taking a trip to San Diego and I wanted to protect my iPhone 5s. Because of this case, we were able to take pictures of our kids everywhere, even while jet skiing. It was submerged in water a few times and absolutely NOTHING happened to my phone. (Note: the few times it was submerged in water, it was only for no more than 30 seconds). However, we forgot to take an underwater picture, therefore I cant comment on the quality of photos underwater.

You can trust this case to be %100 waterproof. I have been in a river, the beach and a few pools. My phone always stayed in my pocket and not a drop of water touched it. Wonderful. However, this is not a case you want to have on your phone 24/7 because you can't really talk on the phone unless its on speaker. You can defensively rely on it if you are planning on having your phone under water.

This offers my phone great protection from my job in a shop where I deal with a lot of dust, metal, and grease. However, I find it hard to hear through the earpiece and it greatly diminishes the speaker quality. It is also a pain if you want to plug in earphones or an aux cord but forget your adapter. Those cords will not reach into the port without one. I am on my second case now after two years of hard use. The front, top rubbery area became worn and split apart. This case has definitely saved my phone, but it has some disadvantages.

Since having this case I have dropped, scratched, kicked my phone and it's still perfect. I have yet to submerge my phone in water but I have the utmost confidence that it would hold true to its advertisement and keep it dry. My only two complaints are screen and sound. The screen portion is loose and thick. It sometimes "bubbles" so when I type I can feel the screen move under my fingers. The sound is horrible because it has to pass through membranes that make this case waterproof depending on the song it causes a lot of vibration. I believe both of these issues are not design flaws but rather probably the only way to make this case completely water proof so if you aren't worried about waterproofing your iPhone then maybe better to look elsewhere.

After reviewing the posted comments about the LifeProof case I was hesitant to purchase it because of these reviews and that the touch ID didn't work inside the case. THIS IS NOT TRUE! This case provides all the protection you want with access to touch ID. I purchased the case in store which was price matched to Amazon.com for $54.99!!!! Amazing deal, I'm super happy!

Overall this is a good case to protect your iphone from the elements. It's lightweight and not very bulky. It's also as slim as an otterbox commuter series case and has a built in screen protector which is a nice feature. Even though it is a durable case, it can be tricky to remove the case from the phone.

Pros: I've had this case for almost 2 years. I've dropped my phone on concrete, marble, and asphalt over a dozen times from standing position. This case basically bounces! It is rockstar! Cons: If you play music or videos on full/high volume through the speaker, it distorts the sound.
