This case is the best and most slimmest case I have ever had or seen

Did the water test and no leaks at all, but the materials of the case feels like cheap plastic for 80 bucks.

this is a very good case for an iPhone...it really seals and protects the iPhone against any damage .

I purchased the Liteproof case because I do a lot of boating activity so I thought a waterproof iPhone case would be a good idea. I have owned the case for 1 year and 4 months which puts it 4 months past the 1 year guarantee and 8 months short of my phone upgrade with Verizon. My phone got submerged approximately 6 inches underwater (well shy of the 6 feet advertised on the case) I took my phone and turned on and the screen showed weird vertical bars. I opened the slot for the charging plug and out poored water. The case leaked in only 6 inches of water. BestBuy originally installed my phone in this case when I purchased it. Now I have the option of either a new phone at Retail price ($560) or a used phone from Ebay or somewhere for $300 because I'm past the 1 year water damage guarantee on the case and I'm too far from my 2 year upgrade with Verizon to get a new phone at renewal rate. I would not recommend this product to anyone nor would I trust it to actually be waterproof.

Lifeproof cases are hands down the best investment!

I have owned Lifeproof cases for my previous iOS devices (iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 & iPad 3rd Gen) so I was excited to see one available for my new 5S. Upon opening my first case I was frustrated to see the adhesive they used on the sticker showing it was 5S compatible failed to peel off properly leaving behind residue rendering the fingerprint scanner unusable. I immediately returned this case for a new one. The second time I was even more careful not to leave glue residue behind. The plastic used to allow the fingerprint scan to work feels cheap and easily breakable. It wrinkles & pulls when touched. It sticks to the fingerprint scanner leaving unsightly bubbles. I was also sad to see they made no modification to the rear port for the flash. They left the port circular when the dual led flash is more rectangular. Sadly this case left more to be desired and I will be returning it. Hopefully Otterbox will get it right when their Preserver series debuts.

I have had three Fre's - and the thin membrane covering the home key faulted on all three - within 6 months - so that's NOT waterproof - I found that out the hard way..

I bought this case for my boyfriend who is a mechanic and frequently drops his phone/ gets it covered with dirt and oil. I've had a life proof before and had no complaints so i figured it would be perfect for him. I ordered it for him for christmas and less than a week later, he drops it. Not only did his iPhone shatter, but the CASE broke. The Case! His phone was broken beyond repair. He had to purchase an entirely new phone AND it was all my fault because I thought the life proof would protect it better than his last case. I will return to otter box from now on. I am incredibly disappointed and embarassed

I like to get as many cases I can so I dont have to worry when dropping my phone

Is a good product, but as seen in the image on the back, the flash hole is smaller, so it does not work for iphone 5S...

The day I bought my IPhone 5s I went straight to Best Buy and bought a white LifeProof case. I was very happy with it until today, I am always very careful with my phone and today it got wet. It was out of the water in less than a minuet, but it was too late. The entire case had flooded and ruined my phone. The case was soking wet when I took it off the phone. Not happy at all with this product and will never buy again.

This case is what I needed for my active lifestyle, I can go camping and rafting and not have to worry about damage to my phone.

My husband bought this case a year ago for his Iphone 5. Everytime we talk on the phone I can barely understand what he's saying. Probably because the case is too covered. Now he has switched to a simpler type of case, and the line is much much more clearer. Such a big waste.

I purchased this product, and a week later the front lining started to peel. I used the warranty and got another, but after a year the case completely fell apart. It is cheaply made and not worth the money for it to only last a year of normal wear and tear.

With all the good reviews on this case, we purchased this case for a phone that is mainly use for business purposes. First of all it's supposed to be dust proof, and everyday it needs to be cleaned out from the dust that gets in it (work in a chicken farm where it is really dusty- when we went to Apple with it we were told that the case is NOT 100% dust proof) the second is that NO ONE can hear me on the phone. I have taken to removing the phone from the case when I get phone calls because no one can hear me. I contacted Lifeproof about it, they said there was really nothing they could do about it but they would send a replacement. The replacement didn't even hold up to the water test. I find that the Lifeproof case is just a huge waste of money.

Window on back came off making case non waterproof. I contacted lifeproof customer service and got a complete run around. 7 emails and 6 pictures uploaded only to be told they would give me a 10% discount???? Claimed my bestbuy purchase could not be confirmed as an authentic lifeproof case!!?? I cannot believe a company would not stand behind such a pricey product. I'll never buy lifeproof again.
