Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

Cheaply made and ineffective

Since then (6 months), we have replaced it twice. The LifeProof warranty is pretty solid, but that really doesn't help when your kid takes her phone in the pool and water leaks into the case. We discovered the home button seal was broken. The second case lasted a few months, again the plastic cover is failing. We purchased the LifeProof NUUD case and it seems to be holding up much better.
