Really can’t say if it is water proof as advertised. I always carry in my pocket and that could be what causes scratches. Does not protect camera lens.

We're sorry to hear about the issues that you're having with your FRĒ case. One easy way to test if your case is waterproof is to remove the phone, and submerge the case under water for about 30 minutes. If you put a paper towel inside the case, you can easily see if the case leaks.

Test before using!

I know it says to test it, but I did not get a chance to test the case underwater. I figured, it’s waterproof, what are the chances of getting a faulty one. Apparently, the chances are high. The moment I got in the water, I tried taking photos, and noticed my screen not working, and noticed water inside with the phone. I immediately turned it off, but I was unable to get back on the boat right away. I thought it would still be ok since the iPhone is water resistant itself, but nope.... my phone is completely broken, won’t turn on, and the screen has pulled apart.

That is why we do strongly suggest water testing that case right out of the package, and every couple of months following that. It protects your phone, however not at all clean

It was on for about a week and now it’s a whole different color than it was. Buy the “ Frost Bite” or purple and pink version of this exact case, it’s nice and remains clean
