Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

It completely protects the phone from scratches and damages. The only disadvantages to the case is that it makes the fingerprint pass code a little more challenge since it is under plastic and since the case is completely surrounded it has a negative effect on the volume.

Well...it's definitely thinner than the "Defender" I had on my previous phone but the rubber plug for the earphone jack broke off in 2 weeks. The "water-proof, dust-proof" earphone jack extension broke after a week so now the case always fills with dust & dirt when I'm working on a dirty job. The screen protector has never been clear. It always looks like it has water under it. There are 2 good things I can say about it....It's thin enough to put in my pocket easily and does seem to handle the shock of dropping the phone. But if you do dirty work like I do, you will be disappointed in the seal around the earphone jack and I wouldn't dare take this thing under water like the salesman claimed! Definitely NOT worth $80!!!!
