Great case for kids! Has already been in the washer and phone was dry and working.

This product claims it will protect your phone even if completely submerged in water...my phone was splashed by a wave at the beach (with case fully secured - all openings were securely closed), and the case allowed enough water to get in to ruin my phone. The case was very expensive (I paid $90+ for it last summer) and the bulk was inconvenient, but I was willing to sacrifice the expense and the inconvenience for the full protection and am very disappointed that it was for nothing. This case offers no more protection that the sleeker, rubber cases and a glass screen protector, which I have on other phones in my household. (I should mention that my husband has this case as well, and complains that dust and dirt are constantly getting inside his case, requiring frequent cleaning.) This phone was taken for pictures by the water, rather than the other phones, with the belief that it was better protected. We did not drop or place the phone in water - a wave splashed it. It was not even submerged, which the product boasts and sells itself on being able to handle. Unfortunately, the Lifeproof case did not hold up to minimal contact with water. I do not recommend this case, and certainly do not recommend trusting it will protect your phone anywhere near water.

The case is average. Main issue is that lint always seems to get into it.

These cases don't protect phones! Don't fall for it, your phone will CRACK from just 1 foot!!! When thinking of buying one.. just save your money!! My Otterbox hasn't failed me yet in over 5 yrs. Just bought this one for my stepson 2 months ago because he wanted this one and now.. cracked screen. But on a good note, the case is fine lol!!! AS IF that does us any good. Thanks Lifeproof... I will go back to Otterbox

Since installing the case, strange as it seems it will not let me end a call. removed...cleaned attached screen and it will will not let me end a call. What is going on I have no idea. i reinstalled my Otterbox defender and it works fine. No clue what is going on with this but it is useless to me.

I purchased this item so that we would be able to take pictures in the pool. The water got into the case and ruined the phone. Lifeproof will not replace your phone if their product fails to protect your device as promised. It is an expensive case that provides no security. Very disappointing.
