Over All. A very protective case. This is the 2nd life proof case that I purchased for my daughter. CONS: 1. Is not water proof just water resisted. It can handle a splash of water but DO NOT use it for under water photos. My daughter did and guess what? Water got in and destroyed her phone. Life proof will not replace your damaged phone because of water damage. They will however replace the case. 2. The power port cover on both cases broke off very shortly after they were installed onto the phones. Maybe my daughter was a little rough with the port cover, maybe not. Either way, still dissapointed in the quality/strength of it. PROS: 1. This case will keep your phone in prestine condition. 2. I always get the maximum trade in allowance on phones that were always kept in a lifeproof case.(as Long as they were not water damaged)

I bought this case several years ago and it worked great until about 2 weeks ago. The screen protector separated from the side of the case. Because I liked the case so much I ordered a new one to replace it. However, after 7 days the new case did exactly the same thing as my previous case. I keep my phone in my shirt pocket so there isn't any stress on the case. It looks to me like there is an issue in the manufacturing process. I really liked this case but it's going back for a refund and I've purchased a less expensive case.

The Lifeproof case is not as durable as I had hoped. The outer trim and the button covers deteriorate long before the new phone model is released.

I have tried others, none fit better and give you total protection as life proof does. The only reason I give it 4 stars is, I end up having to replace the case about every two years. The glued seam between the clear screen and the case always seem to Separate after about 2 years. Most people probably do not keep a phone for more than 2 years, so I am sure this not a big concern to most. If you want a case that fits well. Water proof, lite weight buy this.

My teenage daughter is super hard on her phone and needed a new case for her recently repaired iPhone 5. I've always had great results with my LifeProof cases and directed her in that direction. She ended up picking the black Fre and we have never looked back! The waterproof case seals up wonderfully and the hard plastic has all the armor one could ever need. I also love that there is a thin waterproof film protecting the screen (something my old LifeProof Nuud didn't have). I could not be happier with this case!

This is the only phone case my engineer husband will consider. It is not cheap, but does a great job of keeping his phone safe from damage and water and dust. The previous one actually wore out from being pulled out of his front jeans pocket multiple times a day. The engineer figured out a better way to position it and signed up for a new case. He is optimistic that this one will last longer than the one year of the previous case. The slightly loose fit of the cover screen would be a turn-off for me, but he makes it work and considers the waterproof protection to be worth the minor hassle. He rarely uses ear buds, so he isn't bothered by the small plug that must be unscrewed to do so. Bottom line: how you use/store your phone will determine how well you get along with this case!

I had this case for my previous iphone 4, and got it after once dropping it the water and then later having the screen break. Since having this case these mishaps are not an issue. When I got my new iphone it was only case I wanted. Its not bulky, all the phone features are still accessible, and it protects it everyway possible.

Since I tend to get busy, I tend to put my phone in my back pocket. It had dropped out several times and has survived mainly due to the case. I've also dropped my phone in the water at the lake where I live, in the toilet (YUK!) and has been saved by the case as well. My only complaint is the limited number of colour options available for this case! I guess I could have ordered another colour (didn't want the black or the purple one available in the store) but needed a case as the front screen edges were peeling off and I had just dropped it in the water again.. Same thing happened to my other two. Wanted a waterproof, bump proof case without the bulk of the other waterproof choice. Expensive but saves your phone.

Great case, liking it a lot. Great fit for iPhone SE. very durable against drops and water. The screw in headphone jack cover takes getting used to, as well as having to have the extender cord to plug in the headphones. But even that’s not so bad.

This case is great at protecting my phone. The few times that I dropped my phone, there was no damage at all. The case also make s the phone easy to handle. Over time, after 3 years, the type of rubber used on this case begins to deteriorate and become brittle and start to break off. It may be due to my keeping the phone mostly in my front pocket in which my body heat may have an effect on the rubber. Even with this issue, the case is worth it for it's water resistance and keeping the phone damage free when dropped.

I PURCHASED THIS CASE AS A GIFT FOR MY GIRLFRIEND. IT DOES AN EXCELLANT JOB OF PROTECTING THE PHONE. IT PREVENTS WATER FROM HARMING THE PHONE. I DO THINK IT IS A LITTLE TO EXPENSIVE. SO IM ONLY GIVING IT 4, INSTEAD OF FIVE STARS, BECAUSE OF THE PRICE.

I bought this phone case because I was going to Iceland knowing I would be doing hikes and hot springs visits. It wa last perfect! I still attempted to keep my phone out of the water but it was nice to know that I didnt have to worry about my phone if I did drop it. I did a water test several times and it was completely dry on the inside. The one down side to this case was that people had a hard time understanding me on phone calls and they often told me it sounded like I was underwater. I now only use the case when I need it specifically for water proof situations.

LIFEPROOF CAses are very good, but over priced. purchased for my girlfriend because she has small kids and they are always playing on her apple phone. it protects the phone really well, but again it is expensive.

Well made by Lifeproof good product I habe all my Apple devices In Lifeproof cases and the devices still look new and work as the day they were new and put into cases and 100% water proof

This device did seem to make my phone waterproof when I had just put it on, but it also made my phone more bulky and harder to get in and out of my pockets. I think that the phone seemed to overheat more often in this case and the thin plastic at the home button for my touch id was not able to handle the pulling in and out... I seemed to have moisture get in onto my touch id and the battery started warping so I had to replace my iphone 5s. The first time you take your device out of this case its protection and function is compromised.

Always been a fan of lifeproof cases since they have been out. One of the few cases that provides a rugged protection without adding weight or bulk to the phone.

This case was purchased to protect my iPhone SE, specifically from drops, as the camera on my last phone had been jarred too often. The waterproof and dust proof qualities, along with the built in screen protector, were merely bonuses. The quality and appearance of this case were great. I did feel like my phone was very protective. The main draw backs for me were the texture/response of the screen/front button and how the case handled sound. The screen protector made it hard for my phone to register touch typing and gestures. The fingerprint sensor also had a hard time reading due to the protector on it. While I was glad that the screw in headphone adapter was included, it made using the Apple headphone controls impossible and added a lot of bulk when carrying it all around. Playing music without headphones resulted in distorted sound, which was similar for phone calls. Finally, I felt like my phone heated up much more quickly in this case than in others. In the end, I returned the case. It was very protective, but made accessing and interacting with the phone more difficult than it was worth.

It does everything as advertised. A bit expensive, but worth the price in order to protect phone.

Good quality. Compact, doesn’t make phone’s size bigger as it’s competitors but the price is too high.

It is a little expensive, but worth it in the end. This keeps your phone protected.
