Life proof case IT IS NOT

I bought this for our first anniversary after not going anywhere due to COVID last year and it failed me miserably. We went to the Maldives and because my phone got water in it I was not able to take picture of our first anniversary. All because I couldn’t charge my phone because the case that was supposed to keep water out did not do that. At all. Smh

Great adventure case

We're sorry to hear you're having problems using the touchscreen on the FRĒ case. Sometimes air can get trapped in the LifeProof during installation, which can cause this. We suggest opening the port door at the bottom of the case then push the front of the LifeProof against your chest or thigh with the palm of your hand on the back. This will squeeze out the extra air and you should have a smoother experience going forward. If you need more assistance, please call us at 1-888-533-0735.

Changes not for the better

First one would not close all the way when my phone was in it. Exchanged it for a second one that had the same problem. Seemed very slippery. Have always had life proof cases but this latest one felt very flimsy. End up returning second one and getting an Otterbox defender pro and am glad I did

Keep in mind, sometimes that case may look like it isn't closing properly, while the internal seals are fully intact and functional. We'd recommend removing that case and performing a water test to ensure everything is functioning properly. There is a bubble between the phone and the case. I’ve taken the case off and put it back on multiple times but there’s still space between the case in the phone.

Worst LifeProof case so far

I’ve put a LifeProof case on all of my iPhones since the 5 and this year will be the first without it. There was definitely a problem with quality control for the screen.

Broke twice!

Every purchase I’ve made ALWAYS came with a lifetime warranty. I felt for the price I paid it was worth it! This time for my iPhone 12 Pro Max phone fell and went into the snow! So THANKFULLY it saved the phone 4 months after purchasing it! I noticed it was getting wet inside so I contacted customer service for a replacement. After 4–5 email of going back and forth with them explaining the case is now not waterproof with pictures. They replaced it and let me know that the warranty is only one year limited! This is the first time I’m having trouble with the case. I expect to get what I paid for…a case that is durable!!! Now today it will not close properly so I burned $90 on a case for less than a year!! Also with this case face id is not able to be used.

When I take a picture now it looks extremely cloudy. Very unfortunate, I will be needing to purchase another case now because taking pictures is what I love doing. - C
